You simply aren't going to EFL rules or not to comply with. The stadium is the only asset as it were to be worth cashing in on as I see it. You could say that the losses are loose change when you are billionaires-it's whether the whole thing makes business/profile,/kudos sense.Maybe, but with losses of many £m, a cut in income of what £10m and Thohir's family allegedly a bit fed up with funding such losses, not sure the choice to keep the same cost base would be that easy....
All is fine and Erick is still absolutely committed.Lower levels too, only those redundancies aren't publicly announced
He is still paying the wages and running costs every month plus putting a bit extra in each month so I’d say, yes he is still committed. All is fine and Erick is still absolutely committed.
But were these already in position when we were previously in League OneI guess that with the huge reduction in Championship revenues and the huge losses, redundancies and cost cutting was inevitable
Real shame for those affected.
I read somewhere ( on here?) that there had been a large increase in staffBut were these already in position when we were previously in League One
In our most recent accounts we employed more people than West Brom, whose turnover was 66% higher than ours. But we also employed more than West Brom when we were in L1. When their turnover was 233% higher than ours.I read somewhere ( on here?) that there had been a large increase in staff
Not sure how true it is, but if that is true, then I guess not.
Really? I always get the impression that we’re quite lightly staffed, hence the various fuckups with merch, ticketing, and accounts, not to mention our patchy performance in the transfer market. In our most recent accounts we employed more people than West Brom, whose turnover was 66% higher than ours. I was surprised that we only had to count the right backsYeah but I think most of those were in the playing squad.

Anything in particular made you think there might be, or just the lack of communication from the club.If a change of owner is in the making, I can’t see this being officially done until the 7 day deadline for FoSB runs out.
There’s been lots of speculation. Mainly due to the embargo, could of course be nothing in it.Anything in particular made you think there might be, or just the lack of communication from the club.
That’s Suggs in that photo, surely? Madness.View attachment 38006anything in this?
More likely to be tomorrow wont it?Would be nice if the club had an update ready today.....
If I were the club my update would be “oh FFS”.Would be nice if the club had an update ready today.....
Is that ancient tumbleweed?
That's the pitch, goal posts, and ball AFC Oxford will be using after the endless appeals force United out of existence.

It’ll probably be Ciaron Brown related I imagine. Something about Championship clubs keeping tabs for January with no named sources. Times is hard for ‘journos’ during the international break.View attachment 38092see what BS he comes up with tomorrow
