Isn't Laksmana the board member with responsibility for the stadium? I realise that's more to do with driving investment and trying to cobble together a few million quid from down the back of the corporate sofa (which is definitely NOT the Joe Skarz sofa that used to be in the media office) but I would have thought that he would have final sign-off on anything stadium related that's above McKenzie's pay grade.

That's the impression I got from the really extensive sit-down interview he did with Ryan Maher when initially appointed that had us all completely charmed and united behind another new face.

Aimee would be the club’s day-to-day lead on stadium delivery. She won’t personally be managing every engineer or contractor that’s what the professional project-management team is there for but she is likely to be the senior OUFC representative coordinating the project from the club’s side, with major spending and strategic decisions going to rudi

Cheers for the info you’ve posted on this thread Billy, and you’ve posted some interesting info on Aimee McKenzie’s role.

I’m a ‘Head Of’ in my business, and we’ve recently awarded a £370 mill professional services / tech contract. We’re dealing with a ‘master vendor’ who is co-ordinating with all the suppliers involved, but there is a decent size team our side still overseeing the transition . Completely different sector to a new stadium build, so appreciate it’s very hard to compare. However it still feels a little light to me in terms of the number of people involved OUFC side. I could be completely wrong and perhaps things will change if we get good news I late September.

I think the difference is OUFC have outsourced a lot of that resource. Ridge are doing project management and cost management, with AFL, Mott MacDonald and others covering the technical side.
So Aimee doesn’t need a huge in-house stadium team around her at this stage. She needs to represent the club, make the day-to-day decisions and escalate the big ones.
There may well be more appointments once construction and commissioning properly start, but I wouldn’t judge the size of the project team just by how many names appear on the OUFC payroll.

Just to give a real time example luton town lists a grand total of two people as its “Senior Team”: CEO Gary Sweet and COO Michael Moran.

Isn't the communication at the club being managed by the acting CEO or the guy who thinks he's the CEO? I suspect he's writing Dusan's notes too.

Anyway, we need our new Supporters Trust Chairman and 'Independent' FAB to start demanding more. Time is now imperative as everyone seems quite content on letting this charade drift on.
 
The social media team always want ‘content’ to put out. Why on earth don’t they show an interview with Aimee, not to say Dusan?

Respectfully maybe mental health awareness should first and foremost be cascaded amongst the workforce, those people in jobs who we call our family and friends.

In life, you reap what you sow. So the old proverb said.

Don't forget, however hard they tried and continue to try, with activations et al and s**t brown merchandise, this remains a family community football club.

They can only interview people who are prepared to be interviewed. I wouldn't be surprised if they've never met Bogdanovic (and possibly not McKenzie either if she doesn't spend much time at the training ground).

I suspect one of the reasons for Susan’s low level of communication and stand offish stance is the feedback Tim and Grant gave him so he’s trying to keep a barrier in place from the start?

We have probably played 2 Top 6 teams and one who may finish just below half way ( appreciate early yet).
There is no way that at least 8/9 teams wont be worse than us snd im my view Andrews looks a cracking signing and who knows his good this Villa winger could be.
It is very early but to suggest we could be relegated already seems to me to be ridiculous

Yes I agree that we've played decent teams so far. Away to Huddersfield could be one of the hardest games in the division. And we've got Leicester next!

I think both Huddersfield and Leicester will be top 6 certainly, so to get these away games out of the way so early in the season is a bonus
 
Both in the drop zone tonight (and Burton in the play-offs?!).
