General The Board & Senior Management

Hopefully he'll be updating his non-Oxford supporting listeners about the JR refusal and time wasting oral hearing

Back in March he was talking about how crazy it was that under current rules, pre-build expenditure should strictly be included in psr calculations. I wonder if we're still in the same boat with all this JR nonsense

I’ve been wondering whether all this legal fees will tip us over. But once all the reviews are done , can we backdate all the stadium costs from revenue to capital ?

The Price of Football latest podcast:

U’s mentioned just after 50 mins in - ‘`We will fight them on the beaches…”

A good question. Not sure you'd be able to go back and reclassify those costs though, would you? Frustrating. It's not like we're gaining any kind of sporting advantage having to deal with all the legal challenges

Good to see our Senior Management and Board communicating ahead of this to settle our nerves.

Interestingly, I hear to Dusan was actually in the UK last week. Nice of him to say hi.

We really have got f*****g half-wits running our club these days 😞

It’s a complete joke that we are under an embargo again, 2 years on from the last one when we had just been promoted.

It cannot be swept under the carpet, and Williams, Dusan, Waldron and the rest of the SMT need to be held to account. It’s unacceptable senior management of our football club.

It sets us back in our planning, without a shadow of doubt. In fact, I had heard that a GK was on the cusp of signing, only for the contract to get revoked. This would explain why.

A complete shambles.

Is it an SM problem, or is it the owner not providing funds to SM?

The owner puts the SMT in place to run the football club, day to day.

We were relegated 9 weeks ago, and it loooked on the cards for roughly 6 months before that. It is ample time for the UK based SMT to liaise with the owner, to ensure that profit and sustainability guidelines are adhered too; and to ensure we do not fall foul of any rules therewith.

If we’re saying Erik has pulled the plug, and that is why Dusan/Tim and staff couldn’t act, then that is a different matter. However, if that were the case I’m surprised they paid off Bloomfield to appoint a high profile coach like Ramsey. Doesn’t strike me as pulling the plug.

Someone on here who is a part of OxVox or FAb or whoever needs to be on these people and demanding some updates.
No kit.
No fees paid.
No meaningful stadium updates.
No backroom staff announcements of ins or outs.
A chairman we've never seen.
Now a potential embargo.

Difficult to file paperwork if the money isn't there.

On this occasion, I don't think he's the issue.

Thohir is under pressure to reduce his financial input into the club. This may be the beginnings of that (not saying it definitely is)
Under pressure from who and how do you know this? Why would he need to reduce his financial input into the club? He has only just become the majority shareholder.

Nothing to do with FAB, which is a club construct. It should fall within the OxVox remit, but do they have the teeth?
