As part of the changes, Dusan Bogdanovic has been appointed Chair, succeeding Grant Ferguson, who steps down from the role after four years but will remain on the Board. The Club thanks Grant for his leadership and contribution during a period of significant progress.

The appointments reflect Oxford United’s continued focus on strengthening leadership, governance and long‑term strategy as the Club looks positively to the future.

Following these changes, the Board comprises Anindya Bakrie, Grant Ferguson, Rudi Laksmana, Dusan Bogdanovic (Chair) and Sumrith “Tiger” Thanakarnjanasuth.

When we played pre season in New England I went to see a Red Sox baseball game and their programme covered the whole season. And I thought Scottish teams doing one home programme for three pre-season friendlies was a bit tin-pot.

Just seen this. Anyone else heard the same?

The guy in question worked for Inter Milan and DC United so has links to Thohir and Williams.

Some background on him here:

We've recruited a COO who is currently working his notice so entirely possible. Would be a very good appointment of he came in, and would reinforce Erick's ambitions for the club.

Although I suspect it's little more than people guessing based on previous links.
Not to mention Erik had lunch with him recently and put it all over his social media.

Wondered how long it would be before Adam Benson got the blame for something!! He's really not that important!
Indeed, he is not. Other than doing his best to make it seem like our fans were outnumbered at Wembley (which, thankfully, made no difference whatsoever), it's not like he has any direct impact on the things that truly matter - the team's performances, managerial and backroom recruitment, player transfers, the Triangle, nor even the East Stand toilets.

You can’t beat a cup of fresh tea from an old fashioned teapot.

Keep reminding fans about our ill fated preseason trip to Indonesia.

Keep reminding fans how undercooked we were at the beginning of the season compared to relegation rivals Portsmouth.

Keep reminding fans we spent close to a million pounds on a rightback and failed to address the gaping hole for an athletic defensive midfielder for competition and cover.

Be aware that senior management would very much rather that fans are not reminded of the above.

Be aware of the drip drip of Rowett bashing gradually being pedalled which senior management will be very pleased about.

They're all at fault in their own regard.

Just because of the disaster going on behind the scenes, doesn't make a manger exempt from criticism for picking Bradshaw and Mark Harris against relegation rivals.

It’s clear many supporters feel frustrated by the club’s communication and decision‑making from the board and senior management, and that fans want more transparency and engagement. Consistent, open dialogue with supporters and more effective leadership would really help rebuild trust and show that off‑field matters are being taken seriously. Hopefully the club listens to these concerns and works to improve how they operate behind the scenes.https://yellowsforum.co.uk/threads/Visit/fan-feedback-concerns.8198/
Williams doesn’t listen, he’s too full of his self importance, sooner he is replaced the better. First time I met him was at the invitation to meet around 12 fans who had written in to discuss the future of the club, it was the day before the Bristol Rovers game which was KR’s last.
He is an arrogant, know it all and it was all about him rather than the club.

Haven’t changed my opinion about Williams having attended a couple of Fans Forums and listened to him several times on Radox or the Dub.

Niall Mc Williams was at the same meeting, an utterly decent sincere man who has given his time to get OUFC where we are today, make no mistake the new stadium wouldn’t have got off the ground if it hadn’t been for him, and a few others one of which is on this Forum.

Give me Niall any day over the creep Williams

That afternoon was something of an eye opener for all of us who attended.

In what way? I have heard a lot about the meeting over recent years but never actually seen what was such an eye opener about it?
The attitude of said Mr Williams was one, granted he had found time to actually attend so, a plus. The negative was the patronising treatment at the meeting. As @The Mighty Aldo said, we had requested a meeting to discuss the clubs position in relation to KR and the club's future. Once Williams had stopped telling us all about himself, we had a very short opportunity to get across how we felt about the performances under KR. Then, without any notice, KR walked into the meeting. As the intention of the meeting was to get across our thoughts and feelings about his behaviour and the substandard performances, you can imagine how awkward things became. KR found the whole thing very amusing and yet another opportunity to display his egotistical attitude. He even joked about how the fans were calling for him to go.
Williams continued to defend his actions which has always left me with the opinion that he knew nothing about the decision to sack KR almost the next day.
As others have said, the only person who came out of that meeting with respect was Niall McWilliams.

It made all of us ( bar one diehard KR fan) realise that us fans/customers were to be tolerated at best, dismissed for any opinions expressed. It was also the last time anyone has been given such an opportunity, Fans Forums became an absolute rarity and the interaction between club and fanbase was eroded beyond belief. It was also, quite probably, the beginning of the end for Chris Williams. He had facilitated the meeting.
