Or the Singapore Stock Exchange, where Oxford Investment Holding Pte is registered.
Colin, do you mean keep an eye on ACRA, Singapore's version of Companies House, where Oxford Investment Holding is currently registered as a private company, or do you mean that the private holding company Oxford Investment Holding is about to go public on the Singapore Exchange?!

Seems odd to be fussy about future owners when the club's owned by members of a genocidal (West Papua) oligarchy funded largely on mineral extraction, though. Whose initial purchase was influenced by the opportunity to oust Benny Wenda from the 'freedom of Oxford' conferred on him by the city council.

I'd imagine any new investment will be towards funding the stadium but we need to be careful that doesn't hand a large chunk of the stadium ownership to a third party unrelated to the club.
Is the lease not drawn up in a way where the stadium and club can’t ever be separated again like the Kassam was?

Yes, this. I was in a hurry, as I was going out, so just used a generic term, but look out for changes on the listing on ACRA, as there may 👀 be some in the next week or so.

Personally I see the most likely scenario being, initial investment being just below controlling stake in the club and naming rights for the new stadium. However I think they’re may well be options/clauses for said investor to eventually complete a full takeover.

I must say though @Colin B seems to be making a lot of grown men rather excited with his 👀

Of course it is , that's why it took the county council so bloody long to agree the lease on the triangle.

If I remember right Orkney was constantly claiming the Lib Dems and Cherwell were trying to kill the club and were all against the stadium beford planning was granted. Obviously he was proved very wrong on that.

He is not alone though, we do have a minority of fans who are very negative on every aspect and believe Kassam mark 2 is just round the corner.

Maybe just maybe it's our time to hit the big time following Brentford's and Brighton's model.

I have very mixed fews about ‘hitting the big time’ but right now I’m enjoying the journey we are on and excited about getting into our new stadium which we can finally call home, the first time since leaving the Manor.

Personally, I'll always be wary of football club owners and Liberal Democrats.

There are some good owners out there and we have some here but football has a habit of attracting spivs and speculators as we and other clubs have seen several times.

If they're looking to raise external equity for the stadium rather than just debt then presumably that would mean new investors taking on a slice of the club, as the covenants and rent limitations on the stadium will (hopefully) mean it's not much of an asset on its own, right?

*Would we prefer a Saudi investment group or American investment group?

Do people have particularly strong feelings on it? Personally, I couldn’t really give a monkeys as long as they’re fully invested in OUFC and safeguard the future of our football club.

*I’m not suggesting that any investment is limited to just coming from Saudi or USA.
I'd struggle hugely with Saudi investment. Would genuinely test my loyalty to the club, I think.

Here's a radical thought for some of you to ponder.

Over the years Jerome has had the inside track on much of the inner workings of the club. Many of the people who gave Jerome that inside track are no longer at the club.

Jerome may know more than the man in the street, but he doesn't know everything......................
I mean we are at a higher level now too.

When I was a mascot in 2006 I was part of a rondo with some of the players pre-match, for example. Can you imagine that happening now?

So he may have known more 15 years ago but now we are in tier 2 of the football league, I’d imagine it’s more hush hush

Was that a way of saving money on scouting?
