General The Board & Senior Management

Just catching up on this thread after getting back from Sheffield (had a break in the Peak District).
Oxvox eh? Where's Mark Sennet when you need him? Oh, he's moaning on WATG.
As a Life Member I think we need to give Paul P more credit for the time he puts in.
Unless any of the anti-posters wants the role???
Well, this "anti poster" has already had the role.

It wouldn't suit your narrative if I told you why I resigned from it........................

Do people who have paid to be a member of OxVox not have the right to question those who run it if they feel they are being let down by the organisation?
Are we now only allowed to question OxVox if we are willing to be chairman of it?

That is a very odd post.

'Where is Mark Sennet when you need him?' - Sounded to me as if he was on the radio raising a perfectly valid point.

I am also a Life Member of OxVox - I can do the difficult trick of thoroughly appreciating the selfless amounts time and effort put in by those on the committee whilst at the same time being slightly uncomfortable with how some matters are being *publicly* approached. It may be (and I suspect/hope it is the case) that OxVox are more forceful with their dealings with the club in private than is being depicted openly - but if they *appear* to be so laissez faire they *will* be criticised by those who are concerned about the off-field management of the club.

Finally, not all of us are able to commit the time or effort that would be required to be OxVox Chairperson - that does not mean that as members, we cannot have concerns.

For all of his faults, for which there are plenty, it is great news for us that TW is pushing the stadium planning issue to ensure it is getting significant national exposure.

I cannot see how this can be anything other than a good thing for the football club. It should help to apply pressure to the planning committee, when the time comes next month. For anyone on social media, it would probably worth sharing the SSN article and video as much as possible. Let's get as many people talking about it as possible.

Why did he not give out more info on the progress (or otherwise) of negotiations on the lease?
Because they are being shafted yet again by Kassam, a man who clearly based his negotiating strategy on Donald Trump's. There won't be any negotiations, the price will be set way over the market rate and we'll either have to pay it or groundshare somewhere else.

Posted via the Yellowsforum twitter, like you say, credit where credit is due for getting the message out there.

Because it could hinder the planning application (something that you have constantly been against).

Yep, fair play. This is the sort of thing I want to see him do more of, so credit where it's due.
