General The Board & Senior Management

Leeds over 40 transfers in and out, totalling about £190m in value (mostly out). Still madness, but around in line with the value in the modern way in which agents get paid both by clubs and players.

Just catching up on this thread after getting back from Sheffield (had a break in the Peak District).
Oxvox eh? Where's Mark Sennet when you need him? Oh, he's moaning on WATG.
As a Life Member I think we need to give Paul P more credit for the time he puts in.
Unless any of the anti-posters wants the role???
Well, this "anti poster" has already had the role.

It wouldn't suit your narrative if I told you why I resigned from it........................

Do people who have paid to be a member of OxVox not have the right to question those who run it if they feel they are being let down by the organisation?
Are we now only allowed to question OxVox if we are willing to be chairman of it?

That is a very odd post.

'Where is Mark Sennet when you need him?' - Sounded to me as if he was on the radio raising a perfectly valid point.

I am also a Life Member of OxVox - I can do the difficult trick of thoroughly appreciating the selfless amounts time and effort put in by those on the committee whilst at the same time being slightly uncomfortable with how some matters are being *publicly* approached. It may be (and I suspect/hope it is the case) that OxVox are more forceful with their dealings with the club in private than is being depicted openly - but if they *appear* to be so laissez faire they *will* be criticised by those who are concerned about the off-field management of the club.

Finally, not all of us are able to commit the time or effort that would be required to be OxVox Chairperson - that does not mean that as members, we cannot have concerns.

well said and well explained- agree 100% with all the points made ( & yes Im an OxVox lifer too)

I think some fans are hoping for members of the club hierarchy to be in stocks set up outside the turnstiles with a bucket of rotten tomatoes on hand.

Where did I put my pitchfork?
But half of them will then complain as they were not outside the right stand.

“That is unbelievable for a Championship club to be in that position.”

Yes, it’s also unbelievable that we’ve been handed two transfer embargo’s within 12 months.

For all of his faults, for which there are plenty, it is great news for us that TW is pushing the stadium planning issue to ensure it is getting significant national exposure.

I cannot see how this can be anything other than a good thing for the football club. It should help to apply pressure to the planning committee, when the time comes next month. For anyone on social media, it would probably worth sharing the SSN article and video as much as possible. Let's get as many people talking about it as possible.

Why did he not give out more info on the progress (or otherwise) of negotiations on the lease?
Because they are being shafted yet again by Kassam, a man who clearly based his negotiating strategy on Donald Trump's. There won't be any negotiations, the price will be set way over the market rate and we'll either have to pay it or groundshare somewhere else.

Posted via the Yellowsforum twitter, like you say, credit where credit is due for getting the message out there.

Yep, fair play. This is the sort of thing I want to see him do more of, so credit where it's due.

So, three full weeks later, and after we were told that it would be cleared up in "a few days" we are still under embargo as per The EFL website.

Also there has STILL been no official notification or response from the club, to us supporters regarding this.

Anyone else fed up being treated like a mushroom?

I desperately want us to get over the line tomorrow, and preserve our Championship status. But I am equally desperate for those running of our club to become even moderately competent, and start doing the things they're employed to do, and then to actually communicate them to us.
