After an error strewn first set, Djokovic has got his act together. Nothing revolutionary. He's simply returned everything better, forced Norrie into longer games and put a hell of lot of pressure on his opponent's serve without much pressure on his own (Sampras-esque). It's something you'd expect someone with 23 Grand Slams to his name to do.

This should be a cakewalk now. Novax one game away from the third set and all momentum leading into the fourth. No shame in impending defeat for Norrie. He's outperformed his seeding and has had a good tournament.

Djokovic has been far from his best this year. He's dropped a few sets when he shouldn't have but he's still comfortably better than everyone else in the field. That said, I'll be intrigued if the antics of Kyrgios gets under his skin on Sunday.

Haha, just saying how I feel. £535,000 for the losing semi-finalists. T Maria has received the same amount as C Norrie, that doesn't feel right. But I'm sure N Djokovic is glad of any support he can get amongst sports fans around the world.

£535,000 for the losing semi finalist plus the prize money for each round.

As for equal pay, that has been around for years whether it feels right or not.

Norrie has had a great year so far.

Not sure how you get to £1.3 mil though. A semi finalist walks away with £535,000 and I don‘t think they get money from earlier rounds as well do they?, I thought it was just a bigger slice of the pot as they progress .

Fair play to him either way. A decent wedge to help him on his way.

A bit of a duff draw for Williams. Joint has a couple of lower tier titles to her name, including one on grass, and was in the top 30 at the start of the year. She’s better than her ranking at present.

She could have been drawn with one of the many no-hoper British players who got undeserved wild cards instead!

Was there someone else on the court with 'the greatest ever, etc, etc' Serena then?

I watched two sets and didn't hear a single positive comment about the other player, who apparently had lost '11 games in a row ' .

If you think the sycophancy towards Messi, CR7 and m'bop at the world cup is bad, Wimbers is another level
