League One Swindon on the brink

I don't want them to go into liquidation, what is footy without rivalries (and there is only 1 rivalry for us - the biscuits, the chairs and the thieves don't make the grade).
But a slide down into non-league will be a good thing - losing to Kings Lynn & Wealdstone will be good for them.
Losing to Oxford City would be even better.

Could you imagine a non league game Between Oxford City & Swindon..... and the game being played at the Kassam...

Would be very interesting how they got the Swine lot in and out!!

One road in and out would be “fun”
no pubs close to Citys ground either ... nearest being either Vitoria Arms Old Marston , or Red Lion Old Marston , both a fair old hike to CPF .... only way in and out is Marsh Lane

Slightly further out but the Up In Arms (the old Somerset) on Marston Road would be another option but can't imagine the Dodo Pub Company being willing to act as the away pub.

Red Lion would be easy enough as just have to cut through Bolts lane across the football pitches..

Would also be an option to open up Marston Saints clubhouse (for home fans!) for a few drinks too.

Cut through Croft road rec,few beers in the jack Russell then onto the game.

The WI on Church Lane would be out in numbers
I know over the years the WI batting has been fragile and they have often been out in large numbers, but they have developed some resistance recently.

Oh dear...... how sad....... never mind.

They have until 22nd April to respond.
