Yellow River by Christie. Perfect😉

Yellow River, Yellow River
Is in my mind and in my eyes
Yellow River, Yellow River
Is in my blood, it's the place I love.

That would really play into the Swindon lot calling us "P**s stains". :)

Oxymoron just beat me to posting the link.

"If we keep this team together, no one will beat us ever" - lyrical masterpiece.

Don't forget this fantastic effort, taken from the OXCD compilation album. It was track #86, and features a bit of the LRT singing...

Never really got into Beaker, but ATL? were great. 'David's Soul, Or How I Became So Stupid' was a really good album.
lets not forget ATL? 'Telescope'

Beaker's 'My Back Garden' was 'rather good' ImO

if memory serves Beaker were John Peel faves too ?

Beaker were certainly on one of Peel's 'Sound City' sessions back in the late 90s.

Can't remember why they passed me by at the time, guess it was all Ride, ATL, and Dustball at the time for me. Can't beat a bit of shoegaze.

Edit: Found the Beaker session on the Peel Wiki (HERE)

"Boxers" by Morrissey would be quite appropriate at the moment.. "losing in front of your home crowd.."

Not sure if the words “Morrissey” and “appropriate” can ever be used in the same sentence these days!!

(But I do like the song Boxers still, I have to say).
