Swansea City Ticket Thread - Saturday November 2nd (12.30pm)

re the Hull game - although its looking like being the lowest league gate of the season so far, it should still be around/over a 10k attendance. It wasn't that long ago when 10k attendances were seen as an achievement, nevermind over 10k attendances ( which the Hull game is likely to be).

Hull have one of the lowest averages in the Championship for away fans.
Coupled with it being a Tuesday night and not one of their closest games, I think they'll be lucky to bring a 1,000, probably closer to 750 looking at the current sales.
We should still get 10k, but I can't see it being much above that without promotions.

Next years season ticket should be fairly cheap at least with the money off from people buying your empty seat.

Thanks for thinking of me. Given the option I would rather the Club just kept all the money from me and the resale however it is what it is.

The games I haven`t put on exchange have not resulted in an empty seat, however the KO times do actually limit far more people than we think.

Whilst that is a good thing in terms of "demand limitation" right now it might need to be considered when we have a larger capacity stadium, although we still be forced to bow down to S£Y.

2.15pm update on Wednesday and currently 72 home seats available - 33 original seats and 39 exchange tickets

The 72 seats are distributed by Stand - North 23, East 24, South Upper 12 and South Lower 13.

Just did a count for the Hull match also (3 days later) and there are currently 1,114 home seats available - North 170, East 101, South Upper 234, South Lower 609

Just had a look on the Hull website and they were given an allocation of 1,518 (not sure why it is higher than the standard 1,476!) of which 762 seats are currently unsold meaning their estimated sales to date are 756. Our home capacity is around 10,000 so we have sold approx. 8,886 for the Hull match, meaning total estimated sales so far of 9,642.

On the subject of Hull I spotted this on the ows

Safety Warning:
The pre-match entertainment will be taking place in the stadium bowl between 7:35pm – 7:45pm. Please be aware that this entertainment includes bright flashing lights and loud noises. If you are sensitive to such effects, please take necessary precautions.

Sounds fun lol

I never knew you could get 3 sided bowls tho

should ( hopefully) exceed 10k

There could be alot bright flashing and loud noises for the whole duration of the game considering it's bonfire night.

I think financially that a win on Saturday would be beneficial to help shift those tickets especially as people have said its a school night. Match is also on Sky+ and there are CL games that night too. Oh and it's Bonfire Night.

I'd hope that wouldn't make any difference to our attendances, but I guess there are a fairly large number of supporters who aren't the hardcore who might stay in the pub. Modern football eh!.

You must be a sad person if you would rather sit in a pub watching a game on the box drinking shite lager on tap when there is a live championship game in the county where you can experience all the delights of live football.

I went in a pub on Sunday for dinner and there were only a handful of people watching the big Arsenal v Liverpool game, where 10 years ago that pub would of been rammed full of armchair supporters. Obviously alot may have decided to watch it at home but possibly some have lost interest in the premier league these days like I have.

Completely agree. I managed to wangle NOW TV at half price until the end of the season, despite promising myself I wouldn't give any money to Sky (sigh...)

But I've no urge to watch the Premiership games even now I can. I've watched a few non-Oxford Championship and other EFL matches but all the shite over the top build up along with VAR and the endless discussions about it, plus the top clubs dominance, makes the Premiership very boring indeed.

The new Champions league group stage is so s**t I would go out to avoid it, Virgin are putting the price up for TNT sports when my current contract ends so I am just getting rid, not paying for that shite.
I got rid of European football last season and if I wanted to watch certain games I would go to the pub. For what it is worth I think the new format will be dropped after two seasons. It might get more exciting in the final group games but I won't hold my breath waiting for that to happen. It is good to see that we are probably still going to have 10k to 11k for a midweek game with all the other distractions but just need that win on Saturday to push it towards the top end of that.

10.30pm update on Thursday and there are now 56 home seats left for the Swansea match - 12 original seats and 44 exchange seats.
It’s so good having a full stadium - great to share the club with more people. Will be even better in the Triangle too.

Can't wait hopefully they will have a fire work display at the fence end and light show all done to music for our display

4pm update on Friday and there are 41 seats currently available - just 4 original seats and 37 exchange seats.

Just a reminder that all exchange seats will go off sale early on Saturday (8.30am) so that will leave only 4 (if not sold this evening) seats available for on the day purchases, so any last minute purchases need to be done this evening to guarantee a seat!

Interestingly (to me) the away allocations have been increasing by 21 seats.
Stoke and Burnley 1476 (and Norwich actual)
Derby amd Swansea 1497
Hull 1518

I think that a row or two at the front have been opened up since the beginning of the season.

11pm update on Friday and 42 exchange seats are currently left including 3 together in the East Stand and 2 together in the South Stand Upper.

All original seats are now gone so this match is technically sold out and there will be no seats available after 8.30am in the morning when exchange seats get removed from sale (unless some additional original seats are freed up by the club).

Hull thread required.

Speaking of exchanged seats, where does the credit go? I've had to exchange ours for today's game and my credit balance is still showing as £0.00.
