Tickets Swansea (A) Final Game

Pretty sure Luton away made it to general sale this season, which I was surprised about at the time. It did sell out in the end though of course.

Surely the club, considering the excuse it gave about not taking the extra Leeds tickets, will see that the Swansea game sold out in a few hours to season ticket holders and ask for the extra 1000 tickets that Swansea can allocate to away fans? Else the reason they gave for turning down the extra Leeds allocation of the initial allocation needing to go on general sale makes no sense?

This is slightly different as the Leeds ticket announcement said "initial allocation" which is partly what led to the upset (I believe there were a few season ticket holders waiting for general sale to buy seats together with others). Swansea said "total allocation". There may be a reason why they don't want to give us any more. Because our away end is small. Because they want the minimum of away fans in attendance in case they're in danger. Something else I haven't thought of.

Or our ticketing gurus could have accidentally typed "total" because they copied the Cardiff text and we actually will get more!

I am just going by the football ground guide which says that it can hold up to 3,000 away fans if needed. Swansea are only getting 15,000 this season so plenty of room, fair enough if they are holding back in case it’s a relegation decider for them but I can’t see the harm in us asking for the extra and seeing if we can get them when they are safe, which could be fairly soon.

Great support selling out on first day of season ticket holders.

Let’s hope everyone who missed out gets themselves to Sheffield Saturday instead. 1,400+ and rising.

COYY

Don’t be so silly, Billy.

It’s school holidays and we’ve been there a few times recently.

Was looking at this the other day and wondering if it would change. And how many tickets would be left after away members have had first dibs. I expect demand will be high regardless of the situation we're in at that stage.
Need two tickets for Swansea away please phone 06516408529

Hello 👋🏼 I’m a Swansea fan. You will be the second biggest away league support at the Swansea.com Stadium. With only Leeds bringing more way back in 2007. We only allocated roughly 2,100 tickets to away teams when were in the Premier League. Either side of the away sections the club had season ticket holders.

You have been allocated the full away end 1,970 and 647 extra tickets are in the North West corner. This corner is usually used for home fans and was full up for our last home game against Hull (cheaper tickets were made available). This area is given over with the North East Corner when we have played FA Cup (15%) matches v the likes of Man City, Arsenal, Spurs, etc. The North East corner couldn’t be also allocated to you because it has a group of season ticket holders. They have to move for the cup games, but I doubt they will be moved for our match, but you never know??? It might depend on ticket sales.

These 2 pictures show where the 647 extra tickets will be located.

Thank-you for getting the equaliser at Cardiff. What a tremendous strike that benefitted you and us because we hate them so much. Next Saturday will hopefully a chance to celebrate their demise and your safety.

For anybody that missed out on tickets the Swnas do offer hospitality packages and away fans can purchase these. They just ask that you don’t wear club colours and behave in a respectful manner like I’m sure you would.

Hello. Thanks for this, that's really interesting to know. I really hope we can get the job done Saturday, so we can all just enjoy the final day with you.

Do you know whether the away turnstiles are automated? I know the home end is but some grounds like to check away fans a bit more thoroughly.

Hi. I didn't think I could go, but now I can. I was going to buy hospitality, but there's a note saying away fans are not allowed. Did Swansea tell you it would be ok as long as you don't wear an Oxford shirt etc (which is fine)? I don't want to drive all that way and then get refused entry! Cheers.

Thanks, absolutely. I’m not sure on the away turnstiles. I will try to find out for you. 👍🏼
