It can sometimes be a little dispiriting reading some threads on here, but then totally different at matches.
The vocal support certainly in the past few months has been excellent. Of course Southampton and Pompey but also for home games ( yes even at the Kassam).
I reckon that the fans have really stepped up and hope that if we can get a decent start next season, some of these atmospheres can be recreated.

Good post. Reading the views on this forum compared to being at the matches are becoming more and more divergent. There are some proper negative posters on here at times. Generally at the matches it's a much better feel

I expect we'll have some sparse Tuesdays but overall I don't see why we can't have crowds approaching 10K and a good positive atmosphere for what should be an exciting season.
Especially with home games against Reading, Wycombe, Leicester, Sheffield W and maybe the clowns from down the 420

Luton , Plymouth, Barnsley, Orient, Mk Dons, Peterborough, Blackpool will all sell out the away end too.

Tbh I think we will lose at least 2k from our attendance figures next season

We just need some actual songs instead of yellows yellows yellows ;)

That would raise the atmosphere on a regular basis.

Depends on how the games fall, some away clubs will sell out on a Saturday but not in midweek, whilst others will bring only a few more whether itโ€™s on a Saturday. From our point of view if we start well then the crowds will be good, obviously less so if not.

Going to predict between 9 and 9.5 average.

We could challenge each other to karaoke contests during the game

I think the support this year has been excellent (particularly away) - and well done that guy on the drum.
Unfortunately I canโ€™t see us matching the numbers next year - we will lose a couple of thousand home supporters at The Kassam and half of the teams wonโ€™t bring many with them. If we are top 1-4 for a while the part-timers may dribble back โ€ฆ..

I wonder if we will sell out season tickets like the last two seasons or if people will not bother if we get relegated

I know me and my boys will be there wind rain or shine .

We won't if people don't stop turning up, like a load of part timers
But they will and you know it a lot if day trippers this year which is good but we need them to keep coming, who knows we might do a Cardiff or a Lincoln and that should boost the crowds

Lose a few but most will renew I think, I donโ€™t know anyone who is not renewing.

To those who moan about our support/numbers we take away, this is our away following to Barnsley in 1990 apparently, a second tier match. We havenโ€™t been to shabby for away followings this time around at this level, be interesting to see what our average will have been over the two seasons.

Yep atmosphere for the most part has been great and much improved on the years post-ultras, massively helped by the Yellow Division and the introduction of a drum. I haven't left a game without a broken voice box all season so like to think I've played my small part there!

Unfortunately they've picked up a load of little toerags who I encountered while changing at Tamworth, hanging out of the train doors and singing about no one liking them, but neglecting to mention that no one likes them because they're a fake club who shouldn't exist.

We got over 9k last time we were promoted.
I reckon we will get more STs next season than that time and if we start well could exceed this?

Teriffic again today.
We sold what 7k STs this season?
Hopefully sell a lot mixture season and let's hope we are up there from.the start.
