Tickets Sunderland FA Cup tickets

Well, I’m looking forward to it, personally.
When we win this, and draw Manchester United at home in the next round, I hope first dibs on tickets goes to those who turned up.
How sad that a home fixture with a premier league side should be so easily dismissed by some.
I think we should make season ticket renewals conditional upon buying and attending home tickets for the league cup and FA Cup. (Joking - but some clubs do this ) .

For the record I’m not dismissing this , just saying why other people might. I’ve got my ticket and quite like a Sunday afternoon game as it gives me a Saturday off to go and see a film or exhibition in London if I want to.

This will be the tie against the Man United who were knocked out by Brighton in the last round, yeah? 😁

Yeah Sunday is a good day for it now and then!

???

I'm sure that makes sense to you, but I'm clueless!

Gemma works in the ticket office. I believe there was a running joke relating to the amount of workload she had to do during our trip to Wembley for the playoffs, so Eric is making a light comment to reference the hard work she inputs for the ticketing department.

f**k it, why stop there? Give them the Jim Smith stand too and we can have our home fans in just the SSL & SSU.
I was thinking give Sunderland the SSU SSL and NS we only need the Jim Smith stand we could sell the SSU £50 a ticket 😂

£50? Surely out of kindness we will just do £1 tickets for away fans since people just want to see the stands full.

£1 is a bit steep we should just give the tickets away surely it's better to have bums on seats than money in the bank

Tickets on General Sale.

And judging by the absolutely f*cking shitloads of ST seats now available I think we can safely put to bed the 'Sunderland is a great draw and/or the FA Cup is magic' argument.
My ST is available. But only because we are having a family party for my youngest lads 18th birthday, I was dreading it being anything other than a Saturday game when they announced at the draw 'ties will be played on the weekend of the 14th and 15th, instead of the usual Fri- Monday 4 day slot

I know it was stated season ticket seats would be reserved until the 28th but wouldn't it have been better to keep them reserved until 8am Monday 2nd February to allow fans to purchase once they had been paid at the end of the month? January is a painful month for families and ramped up even more due to the cost of living crisis.

I also note it's not showing up a reduced price for a season ticket holder to purchase anymore even though it stated season ticket holders will receive a discount when booking in advance of matchday.

It's still over 2 weeks away and on a Sunday where lots of fans have other commitments normally but the club deemed it necessary to only allow a 6 day window for season ticket holders to purchase. It's Sunderland who we played less than 8 months ago not Arsenal or Man united !

Season Ticket Holders will receive a discount when booking in advance of matchday and will have their seats reserved for purchase until 11:00am on Wednesday 28 January.

Apparently not I just looked to purchase 3 tickets and there is no discount for season ticket holders

Unless the discount was only available if you purchased your seat and if that's the case it should be stated

EDIT::
Good morning Kieran,

Season ticket holders had until 11am Wednesday 28 January to purchase their seat at the discounted rate.

Kind regards,

this was a reply from the ticket office

I got the discount when purchasing but that was the same seats but rang the Ticket Office to purchase them before the deadline.

I booked my seat before then and didn't get a discount, I don't think! It seemed expensive, £27 for SSL. Probably I should have ticked a box or something.

I was trying to do it online but wasn't offering the discount it also states that discount will be available as long as brought before the day of the match ( unless I read it wrong)

Probably worth trying the Ticket Office if you can, always seems a better experience than online. Also, shouldn't be but seems a quicker process as well!

Seems a bit harsh to me. This was from the original flyer on page 1.
OK you had until last Wednesday to keep your reserved seat, but it I would have thought a discount would be applicable anytime up until match-day.

A bit like the people who were waiting til the deadline to take up a new ST in 2024/25 and then found them off sale a week before.

I assumed I read it wrong as it clearly states:

Season Ticket Holders will receive a discount when booking in advance of matchday

Admittedly it's only a small discount but it's not the point
