If we register Romeny, or register both Ingram and Eastwood, then no. If we leave out Romeny and one of Ingram/Eastwood, then there is a space left
Keepers don’t count? Or they may do in the championship?

Might not register him I suppose but then is a problem in January or when he’s fit if that’s before then.

Still linked to a paper who sided with a group who nearly killed us off!
Assuming this refers to Liam Rice he's been extremely positive and helpful to OxVox and I believe to OUSP, offering us each a fortnightly column and numerous interview opps. Very diligent reporting forums, matches etc. He's also been working as far as I can tell with very little if any staff support in the Mail's sports department. He'll actually be a hard act to follow in my view. The editorial policy of the paper will have been entirely outwith his control.

My comment wasn’t directed at Liam Trevor, just the paper’s perceived actions which many fans deplored and must have put Liam in a very difficult position. By the way, I don’t know Liam, so good that he continued to be on the side of the club or had their interests at heart under what sounds like difficult circumstances.

Or the club might decide to terminate another contract...

Mostly worried about CB now. I guess it's possible we could still pick up young free agents for the U21 team who could push for a place on the bench (GK, CB, CM).

Looking at Krastev's career, every one of his starts as a LM/LW was during his last loan spell (at Zwolle), where he really came good. I can see him probably playing there for us a lot, but his previous starts were spread equally between CM and AM. He's also had about as many games as a DM as he has as a wide player. People were crying out for a CM/AM/LW, and I think that might be what we've got. Judging from some of the (slightly dubious) figures on various databases, he also seems to have a market value which is quite a bit higher than any other players in the squad.

Ed's read the thread. That's my guess.

The fact that we have let Moore go may suggest that Brown and Davies aren’t too far away from being ready to play. We also have Currie and Spencer who can play there.
Then you have Long who is like a fine wine! 🍷

Currie at centre back?

When is the deadline for registering the squad?

Fair enough Sean. Your comment came across a bit as guilt by association. I've worked for management whose public policies I didn't agree with on some issues, it's a common thing.

It's very much a one person department and judging on the advert, will now decrease to a one person part-time sports desk.

I just checked the regulations , and it's apparently within 24 hours of the window closing!

Can anymore remember when we signed Sam Baldock as a free agent was that the day after the transfer window had shut?

Just prefer we distance ourselves from the Oxford Mail based upon their position surrounding communications relating to the stadium planning application.

No Dub yet this evening. Wonder if, now the window has shut, some light might be shone on the budget fluctuations this window.
