Is he?, he has lost the yard of pace he had, seems to go around fouling everyone, I would hope we can do better, a box to box player is needed, Matos is a must but if not him someone in the same mould.
Yes he absolutely is. His job isn’t to be a box to box, it’s to break up play. A Rowett midfielder. Do agree that we need a box to box midfielder as well tho. Cam, Vaulks, Ledson and Matos would be lovely.

I have been told than Ledson will be an Oxford united player again shortly.
I’m cautious when it comes to my source however as he’s got no history with me. I’m not usually in the know so if this turns out to be bullshit then sue me.
If this turns out to be true then id like big boy to acknowledge me.
Hope you’re wrong!

We want players who are ready to go/fighting for a first team start, not just a last minute back-up when we’ve run out of options!
He would be pushing for a start, just like all our signings this summer. We need to replace Matos and McEachran, so Ledson as one of those would be a great pickup. Would like someone of a higher quality to also come in. Its not a flashy signing but a sensible one

Ledson is not exactly a player on an upwards trajectory.

Was great for us, earned his Championship move, was Preston's player of the season five years ago, earned a new contract and then.......has gradually stagnated.

Could be that he'll kick on after a move; could be that he'll be more like a Louie Sibley and more of a League One level at this point in his career

No to Ledson hardly played last season more on the bench as much as I loved him when he was here they was seven seasons ago and if we’re ambitious we will look for young’s and hungrier. Time to move on.

Zero fact, zero rumour, just guesswork based on some scouting data.

Flw saying Middlesbrough with 2 others today, with interest in Tyler, And swap deals.
Josh Coburn or Marcus Forrs would be interesting.

Edit
El Mizouni and Galbraith would be interesting also.

Just a personal opinion.

I just read in Indonesian News, there's plan from Indonesian League Director to invite OUFC for upcoming Indonesian President Cup, around July 2025, in format 4 local clubs and 4 foreign clubs. OUFC and NEC Nijmegen are 2 clubs that in their radar for the invitation.

I used Google web translate, here's original link :

If it happen and management agree to accept the invitation, maybe it could be use for scouting players from other foreign teams that also play in the cup

I’d take either of them. Not sure how realistic they would be, Forrs is a good player at this level & Coburn is fairly decent & looked good from what I saw of him at Milwall in terms of the goals he scored.

Sorry to be rude, but I’ve read this quite a few times and still don’t understand what you’re trying to say.
Any chance you could rephrase?

Exactly
This is a player discarded by a team who finished three places BELOW us in the league.

Football isn’t quite as theoretical as that. That’s like saying we shouldn’t take any released player from any team who finished below us. I’d look at it the other way - 27 years old and 200 Championship games. Sometimes a player needs a refresh and perhaps Preston and Ledson felt the end of the road had arrived. I’d also factor in him being the squad replacement for McEachran - free, good age, bags of experience, no brainer. No one’s saying he needs to be better than Cam or Vaulks, is he a squad upgrade on McEachran and the answer to that is an emphatic yes he is.

£50k a week?!

He’s 34, I doubt they’d need to double his wages to land him, maybe match his current wages (supposedly 25k?) and a 2 year contract and at 34 he’d probably accept.

No prem club would want him, so don’t get why Wrexham at this stage of his career would need to double his salary. They’re probably mad enough too, but it’s probably a bullsh*t article as far as the wages are concerned.

If they offered Finn Azaz in a swap with Tyler I’d take that.
