Sadly, too many people see a football club as something like fantasy football, where you just move players in and out without a care in the world.

You're right, McGuane had an extension triggered with the sole intention of getting a fee if/when he moved on. McEachran was offered a new deal to play for Oxford United in the Championship. The idea that a matter of weeks later we look to bin him off doesn't sit right with me, and it's not how I want our club to be ran. Likewise with those saying that Currie needs a loan. Or we should dump Goodwin.

No club is perfect, and there are recent examples where things have been far from that here. But I hope that we treat our players with a little more decency than some are suggesting.

Going till Jan with only one fit striker seems a big gamble to me. I'm kinda surprised we couldn't get some kind of middling CF in on loan or on a free for backup. But then it's quite possible you don't really need one and I don't understand football anymore. Some fantastic signings otherwise though.

I am just a bit peed off with a squad limit of 25 in the championship. By comparison, what is the squad limits in the Premier league and league 1 ?

Two fit strikers, a third who should be fit in a month or so, and two to three others who can play up front if needed. If the worst happened and both Harris and Scarlett got injured on international duty, I imagine we'd then look at free agents.

If you read my posts rather than looking to score points, you would have seen that I raised that question earlier.

I'm surprised and slightly disappointed that Currie has been the one to leave. Guessing it came down to having a club that wanted him instead of Leigh, but I hope that Jack Currie sees this as an opportunity to get plenty of games rather than being a make weight in getting a centre back in. He was recruited for this season and I would have liked to have seen him push Bennett for a starting position.

If Currie feels like he's been pushed out rather than getting the opportunity to get more game time, then I don't think that is the decent thing to do.

You could say that about anything, it was true at the time is a total cop out. U told us Longwijk was about to join and loads of other giving it the eyes, but all absolute bollox, and untrue. No disrespect or grudges, just simply trying to point out that no one on here is genuinely ITK and so I don’t get why people believe what some say, when clearly it’s mostly just false pretence. A deal is not a deal until it’s over the line, so the pretend I know this stuff from some, is just crap until it actually happens. Some supposed sources may not be all they seem to be.

Anyway it’s been an unbelievable window so COYY let’s get behind the team, whatever our personal feelings about things are.

I do enjoy reading all the speculation but just shows how much crap is actually posted, whether u agree or not is of course fine, I don’t mind what gets posted, it’s a forum after all, but ITK status is now definitely proven to be none existant or v minimal, other that BIGBOYS list
