At least it’s the type of injury we are EFL experts in!
I’d hope we are still in for Al Hamidi or a further striker in addition to Phillips. We could certainly use his experience and Championship know how, and one other striker then gives us decent options.

Is it possible we put Currie out on a 6 month loan to league one? Bennett seems to be a nailed on starter and Greg Leigh is far too good to play back up.

I was under the impression that Leigh was probably off, and in any case Currie would be considered reserve left back?

I could see either Providence or Phillips, playing through the middle, particularly Phillips. His recent goals reel has a lot of #9 style finishes.
Providence is interesting, I would go for him as a low risk gamble, where we could see a return if he settled into the Championship. I thought he worked hard last night and had some nice touches/duals.

I can't imagine us playing Goodrham out left again, having worked so hard to re-establish him as a central midfielder. Maybe that's how we have to start the first game if we don't have the options, but I would see Sibley starting as a LW before Goodrham goes back out that way.

Glad to hear, wasn't suggesting as if it's something i'd want to happen. Just curious as to how we're squeezing 3 very capable left backs in.
I agree they probably could, would still rather Al Hamadi or Campbell as a striker option though

Happy with that. Increasingly I'm dropping my "We're gonna get trounced every week" opinion and I think we're gonna be a decent side in this league. It'll be a battle but by christ we've sorted some good men for that battle.
