Is there play?
Yes, just very windy.
Is there play?
Genuine question from somebody with the most cursory knowledge of/passing interest in cricket;
How might strong winds affect play? Is it perceived to favour batsmen, bowlers, or neither?
Definitely a player in there. Same with Pope, two good prospects.Crawley is showing glimpses of being a good player isn't he? He doesn't look overawed with the international game and it shows with how he started his innings.
An excellent innings from Crawley. Doesnt he open for Kent?
Also fair play to Buttler who was under a lot of pressure but is now back in form.
England suddenly seem to have sone strength in depth ( Stokes not playing and Curran left out)
Really need Bess to develop though as we seem a good spinner short.
