Maybe not the international level people are expecting, but I was pleased that my boy chose to wear his oxford away strip to the Subiaco AFC under 12s pre-season grading session (they have three weeks of grading to get into the academy teams). He’ll be up against a hundred Messis, Ronaldos and Mbappes, and he’s more Mackie than Maradona, so we’ll see.
