Hey

I have a referral code for a stocks and shares platform.

It allows you to buy shares at no cost, or just £1 for an instant trade.

The company are FSA registered, so your money is insured.

Contact me via DM if you want the link. Once signed up and account funded, both of us hey a free share.

It's a great platform, expanding all the time. 100%free 100% safe.

I have another invite, DM me if you are interested and I can send you the link. Once you top up your account (even with £1) you will get a free random share.

I would take a punt on Low and Bonar LWB
I’ve followed it for years. If as predicted building picks up they should too

In on Taylor Wimpey, good dividend payer. Price has plunged for me though

Wouldn't touch retail at all.

Well you buy at the bottom, lower end and hope they turn around/rise! ?
Retail is OK as long as they haven`t got shops and high rate/rents.... ;)

Might look at something travel based APD (After Pay Day !!).

About 20 years ago I put a sizable amount into green energy funds. In the first 6 months it went up 30% but then sacked in like a souffle when the oven door is opened. Went down to 15% of my investment.
Because what was left wasn't worth bothering about it. Just forgot I had them.
Now green energy is very much in and my shares are rising like an Apollo rocket. Almost got my money back now, but I'm optimistic that I will get into the black very soon. Glad I kept them now.

I won't wait. No funds available now ?. And if I had any spare I wouldn't put any of it in the UK while the consequence of Brexit is unknown. ??

I’ve been waiting for the opportunity. I made £40000 in 2001 and then last £20000 overnight with 9/11
These days I am into investment trusts. Thankfully didn’t get into Linsell Investment Train.
F and C is very good. They’ve been going 150 years and pay good dividends with the prospect of capital growth.
I wouldn’t touch retail in any way as it’s future must be very doubtful.
Buildings should be good because of the prospect of stamp duty reducing and interest rates staying low.
Vodafone is big and well diversified so should be a good investment. Many investments have them as part of their portfolio

My pittance of an investment is just about holding it's own so I'm happy at the moment. Might get more involved when I can feel comfortable about investing but for the meantime it's time to resist temptation. Interesting to hear what others are doing or have been doing. This is no get rich quick thing though!

There’s no get rich scheme.
I luckily switched some one of my pension investments from Aviva Commercial Property to Black Rock USA, luckily I did. Fifteen minutes later Sky News announced Aviva Commercial had been suspended for further investments and withdrawals.
Black rock have risen 40% in just three years. Hopefully coming up to retirement I’ll get the timing right to take it out
