Managers should make a b line for each other at final whistle. There's no rules but it's basic etiquette to shake hands with your opponent before anything else. The fact this practice isn't limited to sport or cultures.Whilst not excusing Evans, it does annoy me when the oppo manager isn't ready to shake hands right after the final whistle is blown.
The Norwich manager kept Buckingham waiting the other week.
I couldn't imagine anything worse than supporting Wycombe Wanderers
Just corrected your postLooking at Wycombe makes me feel so glad that we have a much classier and respected football club.
I couldn't imagine anything worse than supporting Wycombe Wanderers/Swindon/Bristol City
The Wycombe manager knew what he was doing and that just shows me that they are still a sad little backwater club.
What did he do?
Just showed a basic lack of respect and etiquette. What did he do?
A very tetchy and defensive interview from under pressure Steve Evans last night after the 1-0 defeat at Leyton Orient

What an odious bloke.
Agreed. Man's an a**e, but his style of football has been consistently effective, with the right players to suit his style. The Moonrakers would not be where they are now if they had him at the helm.I thought he'd do well there this season but it's not working. His time as an effective manager which, lets be honest, he has been over the years might be drawing to an end. This is very likely his last roll of the dice with a club of any reasonable stature. If he fails at Rotherham then left for him will be firefighting towards the bottom of L2 or L1 if he's very lucky. As dislikeable as he can be Swindon could have done worse than have him these past few seasons, their choice of managers in the past few years has been dreadful.
Ooh, that sounds interesting, thanks!Just finished reading a book called Journeyman by Ben Smith.
He had a couple of seasons under Evans and Rayner at Crawley. Think it would be fair to say he is no very complementary.
ShitmixedThat game in COVID times where we sh*tmixed them in added time and we heard him going mad after the final whistle because the ground was empty lives rent-free in my memory.

I think you are probably right but I thought that when he pitched up at Stevenage who were in danger of dropping out of the league. 18 months later they were hanging around the play-offs in League One. Horrible bloke, as is his assistant Raynor.I thought he'd do well there this season but it's not working.
