The forum would encourage all members to consider joining OxVox during this important moment in our history. See here for more information.
People want look at what he did at DC United & Inter Milan. It's not dissimilar to OUFC.
Cut backs, fans not happy, little funding for player's.etc etc .setting up for the flip.
Isn't it more to do with the fact that 50% of any lump sum has to be spent on infrastructure, which we don't have anything to spend on until the stadium gets the go ahead? If my understanding of the situation is correct; Erick is putting the running costs in monthly but can’t find the lump sum required to satisfy the financial rules that show the funds are in place to complete the season.
All well and good, but isn't this just conveniently ignoring the fact that most of the rest of us work for our money, rather than relying on state handouts?Added to this, there is a qualifying period as well I believe, which could lower the total further.
Yes it's just below £12.5k p a. with other benefits accruing if eligible.Yes, thanks. That'll teach me to skim read.
Considering the amount of time some spend on here during the day, I'm beginning to doubt that very much! All well and good, but isn't this just conveniently ignoring the fact that most of the rest of us work for our money, rather than relying on state handouts?

On a more serious note, if anyone does not know how the state pension is accrued and calaculated, then they should educate themselves. It is possible to pay additional sums into the system to get the maximum payout upon qualifying. If a person has missed contributions it can affect the final figure.Yes, thanks. That'll teach me to skim read.
Nothing wrong with skim reading. It's how I keep up with this forum and it serves me well.Yes, thanks. That'll teach me to skim read.
Also if you were a carer in receipt of child benefit those years count towards your contributions. On a more serious note, if anyone does not know how the state pension is accrued and calaculated, then they should educate themselves. Astonishing how many times the same facts have to be stated. Perhaps if the club came out and explained in more detail it might get understood and recognised better…Isn't it more to do with the fact that 50% of any lump sum has to be spent on infrastructure, which we don't have anything to spend on until the stadium gets the go ahead?
Yes it said 20% in a article this morning ,saying we paid £400,000 for him originally.the amount being talked on Merseyside is 20%
I have no problem with a person being on benefits as long as there situation is genuine! All well and good, but isn't this just conveniently ignoring the fact that most of the rest of us work for our money, rather than relying on state handouts?

Everything Danny Mills has said and done in the last few weeks seems to have had the sole intention of putting pressure on OUFC to sell his son. Thanks for sharing.
That's not true from Danny though - is it? About getting loans or freebies. A lot of misunderstanding going on about our situation.
He either isn't aware of the facts of the embargo, or he is aware and is misrepresenting them to put pressure on the club.I think Stan’s dad, Danny isn’t fully aware of the facts concerning the embargo. It’s not just free transfers that aren’t permitted it also means we aren’t allowed to register any new players also!
Thought we were playing MK Don's?It’s a shame that this Mills saga had and is overshadowing our first league 1 game . I will be absolutely delighted if we win against M.K. Dons and a local derby to boot !

Though the franchise may be local(ish), a derby it is n
The whole derby thing can be very weird though and not necessarily related to distance. The classic example is Brighton and Palace. On par mileage wise to scum and readpot maybe closer so let’s agree to disagree on the local derby view .
