Stadium Music

Perhaps the Oasis reference was a bit of a whoosh?? Or maybe some people leave early when we are losing...?

Music is for nightclubs, concerts, and listening to in the car/at home. Football stadia are for football matches not music.

As far as I can remember they have played music at football grounds, so as long as they do the fans should have some input, the type of music, timing of music and even how loud it is.

I go to football to watch football, not listen to music, always have.

It's one thing having a few announcements over the PA system with a bit of background music before the game, but I can't stand loud music at half time. There's no need for it.

But what I really hate is when clubs play music (usually some cheesy crap too) after a goal is scored. Equally hated is the ridiculously loud music played at Wembley immediately after the game has finished. When your team has just won a cup at Wembley you don't need some knobhead blasting out his idea of an anthem when all you want to do is cheer your team!

These idiots are ruining the game.

Captain Pugwash at Fleetwood is a good example, don't get me wrong Colin I know what you are saying, but they will play music whether you like it or not so as fans we should have some input in what pollutes our ears. Sarge would like the playlist from Wigan Casino circa 1976:)

Captain Bloody Pugwash is a perfect example, as is that s**t they play at Burton Albion.

A bit of Dobie Gray or Gloria Jones would certainly be an improvement, but Sarge would probably forget where he was and carry on spinning all night!!!

We used to play ‘Leader of the Gang’ as sung by a well known sex pest back in the Seventies.

Used to be popular then. Wouldn’t be now.

I like the idea of a same song before the start of a game. Builds up a routine.

Quite like ‘Heroes’.

<Well-reasoned, sound argument>

No dear boy. They're gentrifying it. Be against modern football.
