Yes!
They've done a questionnaire about reopening the Grove train station too
I once had a train 'enthusiast' bore me with why this would be so difficult /expensive to do.

It's only single track in both directions so you either have to seriously disrupt and slow down the main line trains or you have to build a second track into Didcot (under Steventon bridge!) or out west. Sorry to bore you all too.

Have heard the same.

Also recall at local elections one party (Lib Dems?) saying, 'vote for us, we'll re-open Grove station!', to which National Rail replied, 'Well we won't...'. Paraphrased beyond belief of course.

I've lived in Grove all my life and always thought it was 4 lines all the way, have just google mapped it and it changes to 2 just past Grove towards Didcot! Never knew 😂

Edit sorry about going off topic :(

Who'd have thought that a thread on the state of the stadium could evolve into choo choo land!

Ive noticed that every thread involving the future stadium situation invariably meanders off in to lala land eventually, due to nothing substantial to discuss.
Can you imagine the excitement when an announcement is made!

If and when any announcements are made the responses will be something to behold, wrong place/right place, too big,/too small,
