General Stadium Compliance

I chose to walk around the stadium, to the far corner of the overflow car park and through the footpath to Falcon Close.

Yeah, reckon we’ll change our routine to do that, though it’s less convenient for one of our number.

Thanks for that tip, it looks a safer option, I'll try that

The Club need to do something about the smoking in the North Stand Cubicles. Young boys lock themselves in and share cigarettes while their mates congregate outside the door deeming the already scarce khazies out of reach for anyone that needs them. The stewards know but turn a blind eye.
Can't wait to see the back of this hole.

Is there not a smoking area outside the stand?! Being a smoker myself I still get annoyed with people smoking in the toilets in the east stand when there is an area to go to outside.

further to the issues with the path to BBL from the ground, the council are washing their hands of the matter as it doesn't breach planning...

"I have visited the site and walked the entire length of the path in question and from what I have seen, the hard surface path which is available for walking on is not impeded or blocked by the presence of the fencing erected by the developer. I does not appear to me to be a breach of planning control.

If you have concerned about public safety and crowd issues during football games, I would advise you to take you concerns to the football club itself who may be able to provide some form of marshalling, or failing that, contact the police non-emergency line with you concerns. Unfortunately, I do not believe anybody at the Council can assist you with this matter."

Agree entirely. It's the worst part of the ground for it, and was really bad at half time last Tuesday. It's the family stand, ffs, and will likely put off families coming again. I avoid taking my boys down there at half time because it's a bit like a pub in the 90s.

Stewards armed with a water filled fire extinguisher and using it might put them off.
