There was 17 floodlights not working when we played Southampton and yesterday wasn't this supposed to be an upgrade due to playing in the Championship

We have until 22nd October where we play Derby at night to replace the floodlights. Cup games do not require the upgrade.

I saw someone complain to Tim about their view being obscured by the new dug outs. He said they were aware of the issue. Not sure if that means they will do anything about it. To be fair to him, Tim seemed quite comfortable to chat to the firms

My understanding is that all season ticket holders in the immediate vicinity of the dug outs had been spoken to. I guess that some many have not realised the impact until arriving though.

We will just direct those lights at McEachrans mouth, get him to smile and the whole of Greater Leys will be gloriously lit up.

Surely the old dugouts would have obscured the view any way?

Yes, I saw this too. My understanding is that the dug outs have been widened to accommodate the increase in substitutes and support staff in the Championship, but they had not been made significantly higher.

This individual appears to have tweeted at length regarding the game without referencing the view until he posted this 3 or 4 hours later. I would therefore hope that it is just frustration about the change rather than something which actually prevents vision of 50% of the pitch.

I'm sure the club will look at options to assist him, but unfortunately we know that the stadium is not fit for purpose and the changes needed this season will not always be perfect for all.

Hope the skip on the pitch perimeter can be removed soon. Although saying that, the stadium appears to demotivate the championship Billy Big b*****s from the opposition that visit so perhaps we should keep it a little rough round the edges!
