Ex-Player Thread Specialist coaches?

Does anyone know if, goalkeeper apart(?) , there are specialist coaches concentrating on the defence and also goalscoring ? If there is, imo, they're not up to much....if there isn't, why not? There must be some former u's players who could do a decent job.....and maybe help oufc stay in l1?

It dont need specialist coaches to give us a chance of staying in league 1, its getting rid of Robinson and Derry that will give us a chance of staying in league 1.

I think if they didn't all go in the same bus the defensive one would get lost on it's way to most matches.

Fazackerley was a very good central defender and I am sure would be involved in defensive coaching. Maybe the raw material is just not up to it.
