I’m not sorry Southampton shouldn’t have cheated, sorry for the fans? Yea I am but for the club and all the riches they could have fit if they had won on Saturday? No
He was also the one mocking Luke Ayling about his speech impediment. And he is about to have Roy Keane as a father in law. This boy has some serious baggage.
Feel sorry for Hull more than anyone. If Southampton have any morals left (doubtful) then they should sack the manager.
Fair play to the EFL for actually showing some guts and kicking them out.
I feel sorry for Southampton fans but I also feel sorry Middlesbrough and their fans who now have just 3 days to prepare for the final.
I hope Boro now go on to win.
Feel sorry for Hull more than anyone.
it was definitely more than three, unless you're telling me their scouts are so bad they didn't win any of the three games they've admitted to but still got to the FA Cup semis and went 17 unbeaten? Yeah...Thinking about it, we've been joking on here about them being relegated as punishment, while it was thought to be a one-off....
....but if it does come to light that there are more and more cases of it, then at some point it becomes bigger than 3pts per game or whatever, and an actual demotion may become a real potential outcome.
Saying that, it also depends on whether there is the appetite and evidence to go too far further into it, but I'm not sure it can be ruled out anymore?
It unarguably shows that spying on a clubs training before you play them isn’t some sort of unstoppable cheat code.People saying it doesn't matter because we beat them are the same people who think Boris Johnson was villified because he ate some cake.
But how do they prepare for it?Why? They've gone from playing the form side from the second half of the season to a side that stuttered almost as badly as they did, have likely (mentally if not physically) been on the beach for the past week and have suddenly got just three days to prepare for the biggest game of the season.
Hull's chances of winning just went up by an order of magnitude!
In addition to Boro, they’ve admitted to spying on us (they lost) and Ipswich (they drew), i.e teams that were relegated and promoted automatically respectively. How convenient! Two matches that ultimately did not positively impact upon their final League position. However, did they also spy on teams that they won against and thus contribute to their spectacular rise up the table? Conspiratorial, I know, but hey, it’s interesting. There was talk of other clubs going back and checking security footage, so it might be that we've just found something doing that?
behind a container
Yeah might save us from selling a couple of players.Let's milk this for all its worth. Lawyer up, go for 7 figures.
A bit of a tough break for Hull too. Boro will have been preparing knowing they either have no game or who their opponents will be but Hull won't have had a clue.
The real victims though are the half and half scarf sellers. I only hope they had the foresight to just use colours and not put the team names on.
Exactly, think it’s pretty simple why it would affect them more. But how do they prepare for it?
when they didn’t know who they were going to play
Both boro and Southampton knew that they would be playing hull
could do with a dome too for Cat 2 statusAt the very least Southampton should pay for security/privacy upgrades. Planning, materials, installation, the lot.
