Smith = major disappointment. I must admit I had high hopes when we signed him in the summer. He came highly thought of, and failed. Scoring the odd goal against teams he’s used to playing ie under 23’s in the checkertrade is not what we wanted him for. Lessons learnt hopefully, but we will see what the owner and the management have in store for us.

The transfer window may be opening but who on earth is available? Do we have to go down the divisions to get someone in?

Was delighted to see Slav get on. Was majorly pissed off that Robinson then played him in a position totally alien to him. He’s a striker who plays on the shoulder of the last man. He’s a terrier like forward who runs, harries and is a pain in the a**e for centre back as he’s always on your case.

He’s also a player who’ll run the channels and run in behind the CB’s thus turning them around and creating more space for the likes of Henry to operate in. In other words, he’d have done all the stuff that Mackie didn’t!

Not surprising to be honest. Not one of KRs better signings.
Can’t believe that Moobs is communicating on the Oxford Mail sports column.
At least he’s not on here
Absolutely terrible signing. Never once showed even a glimpse of being a decent footballer. Best he pull his finger out or start looking for a job at Tesco.
Funny thing is KR chased and chased him saying things like “Premiership quality striker”. Bloody hell Tony was available at the time FFS.
We were told one of the delays was that we were trying to get him (Smith) on a permanent basis. Well we dodged a bullet there!
A Reading friend of mine said their fans were moaning because they felt he should be playing for their first team. No wonder they’re going down.

Might well have been a better long term solution than a season loan.Loans really have to hit the ground running.

apparently, Smith is staying till the end of the season? .... word is something didn't go as planned in his loan ending early and him returning to the Plastics?
.... hope there will be a statement from the club on the subject soonish?
