We’re in the final stretch of our new stadium bid, and your support could help make the difference. The council will be reviewing the application soon, so now’s the time to have your say.

cheers @MarkG ...Ill try n edit, the erroneous extra 'i' off the end.... if I canIt's not spelt Spasovi and he hasn't yet signed a contract. Other than that, good reporting.
Possibly his age he may have agreed a contract but something to do with age and professional.....possiblySo does that mean he’s signed a pre-contract agreement..? The OM says he’s committed his future then goes on to say he won’t be able to sign until December. Bit confusing to be fair.
That's the point isn't. Spasov sounds like he a credit to himself and the club, I really think we should be giving him the opportunity over the likes of Nile Ranger.I particularly like the following comment:
"Dan Harris, the club’s head of academy, said: “When I first came to the club in January, Slavi was a young man who would jump on a bus from his home and then run a mile and a half from the bus stop to get to training and was never late. "
(Nile Ranger please take note!)
Just to confirm, players are not allowed to sign professional contracts until their 17th birthday.Possibly his age he may have agreed a contract but something to do with age and professional.....possibly
Family moved here from Bulgaria five years ago apparentlyGood stuff, where is the lad from?

I am sure that the club would far rather use Spasov than Ranger. That's the point isn't. Spasov sounds like he a credit to himself and the club, I really think we should be giving him the opportunity over the likes of Nile Ranger.
And makes it 2-0!Just opened the scoring for the U18s in the FA Youth Cup tonight, not a bad 24hrs for him
He already is in DecemberSign him on!
Bad luck he missed his hat trickAnd makes it 2-0!
He already is in December
I assume that the club are looking after him physically. He isn't even 17 yet and even Callum had to bulk up when he was a little older to start making a real impact.
hopefully hes saving that for his first team league debutBad luck he missed his hat trick
Yes wasn't it almost unbelievable how much he bulked up in one 3 month close season.
It must have been a big shot in the arm for him to have developed so quickly at such a fortunate time
Strangely Spasov didnt stand out particularly, except of course for the goals.
Sorry, twin brotherSlavi Spasov
Good news.WEnt to see this game last night and was really impressed with not only most of the players, but the style of football that they were playing - this was certainly not the hoof and chase that I seem to remember from times gone by.
STandouts for me were: Viktor Milton in defence (solid, comfortable taking it forward, McCreadie and Chambers in midfield (some wonderful crossfield balls to the widemen), Lofthouse wide right (very tricky winger), Owen James (lot of effort up front before going off with a knock), Sampford at right back (energy and overlapping for fun). Strangely Spasov didnt stand out particularly, except of course for the goals.
Much credit to Leon blackmore & Chris Hackett for getting them playing the right way, and top of the league

Indeed, credit to many for reviving the whole youth/devs aspect after it tailed off under DEGood news.
Credit to many in the club I would have thought from Dan Harris to Tiger to KR and as you rightly state the 2 coaches.
I would imagine that the way that we play would come from KR (playing from the back, not holding etc??) I stand to be corrected if anybody knows.
