We were in a similar situation in our house in Kent. We'd had Sky for years and the bastards just tweak it up, bit by bit, until one day you realise you're paying a ridiculous amount.
So when we bought the place in Oxfordshire, I looked into Sky Stream. It has no dish or cables, is genuinely easy to instal yourself, but is only as good as your wi-fi. I got it for £57 a month for two TVs, with Sky Sports, Netflix, Super HD, and advert forwarding all included.
Once I was happy with it, I rang them about the house in Kent and got it there, to replace the existing Sky, and got a saving of well over £40 per month for everything above on 3 TVs, compared to the 2 TVs we had it on before.
I realise that I'm now revealing that I'm in a very select group of people who own a home in Kent and also in Oxfordshire. I only know of one other person who's in the same position!!!
