£50 to upgrade my virgin box to be able to get it but I suppose that works out fairly cheap per game. Assumed I would just get it but depending on how you get Sky you might need to do similar.

We have Sky Sports on VM. Upgraded the box free of charge.

TiVo, so need an upgrade as they are not putting the multi game on it.

Will just lie to the missus and say it’s not being supported anymore to justify the £50 if I can’t get it for free.

I thought you could get the box software upgraded for free.

That’s why I have, how did you get them to do that, phone them?

They emailed me. Go into the home page and there should be an 'upgrade now' app (either on the boxes at the top of the home page or in the Apps menu). They'll send a remote and you'll get access to an 'update now' App.

I’ve got a Now TV stick (bought for the Wycombe Play-Off Final for a Daily Pass… ) - is there a particular package I can get with Sky which will be a bit cheaper to just watch Championship games including Oxford’s away matches? Or is it going to be expensive either way?

I looked at the sports package on Now TV and it was £26 a month. Upgrading Sky will cost £22 a month. I'm not sure how that fits with other packages

Anyone have any idea if Sky Sports + will be available via BT as well? My Dad has Sky Sports via his BT box, but if he has to access anything via streaming (so if these channels aren't available directly) he's got no chance of figuring it out.

The £26 a month is open to members as an offer - minimum year contract or it's a 24hr pass at £14.99 for the Sports package. I already have Now TV account and also watch sport through Discovery+ and BT account using their plug in stick.

Almost right. It was actually Saturday 5th August. I was there of course. A sobering wake-up call at the start of the season.

Thought I would try out the voice command function, sure enough, up popped details of OUFC v Norwich - good I thought, then, looked more closely and noticed that in the graphics Sky are using an old version of the club badge.

Our games being shown on Sky Sports Football channel, but not one of the SS+ streams.

So that wouldn’t be SS+
