I think you can play anyone when the Transfer Window is open.Only just noticed Easty made the bench at the weekend. So we've chosen to register him in the 25 man squad this season then? Does anyone have a full list?
Yeah, you still have to add players into a 25-man squad, but this can be chopped and changed as many times as you want in a window, so long as you register before the deadline of each game.I think you can play anyone when the Transfer Window is open.
Just in case you sold a player, you wouldn't be limited in bringing another player in.
Wouldn't read a lot into that to be honest, I think just a case of being in between roles.Signed "as a player first and foremost"
I wondered whether it meant Ingram was off, but imagine and hope you're rightWouldn't read a lot into that to be honest, I think just a case of being in between roles.
Don't think there is any danger of seeing him in goal.
It would be more expensive to sign a separate assistant GK coach and a training keeper to be honest.Seems odd considering FFP constraints. If was our only GK coach then would make sense. I'd also expect our 3rd choice to be a young player.
Goalkeepers aren't included in the squad cap in League OneI think the squad has to be 25 players in L1 (please correct me if I am wrong) - and I haven't seen what the rules are about younger players counting towards that limit (again, confirmation would be useful).
We don't need 4 keepers in a squad that size, so you'd think Knightsbridge might be out on loan again.
Knightbridge no longer our man. On the recent released listI think the squad has to be 25 players in L1 (please correct me if I am wrong) - and I haven't seen what the rules are about younger players counting towards that limit (again, confirmation would be useful).

Thx. Even easier then.Knightbridge no longer our man. On the recent released list

Poor lad's been sitting on the floor watching telly for four years now. Hope the new contract gives them a sense of security again...Easty has come a long way since his missus sold all their furniture.

I wouldn't have any issue with Vaulks starting for us in league 1.Hopefully this is not the first piece of a puzzle which will ultimately see Vaulks and Harris starting for us, come August.
I will absolutely hit the roof if that happens.

Nor would I, he brings a calmness. We had a good shape to our play when he was playing in the Championship.I wouldn't have any issue with Vaulks starting for us in league 1.

Two players who played starring roles for their teams when winning promotion last time they played at this level?Hopefully this is not the first piece of a puzzle which will ultimately see Vaulks and Harris starting for us, come August.

Disagree on both points unfortunately. If he received the ball under pressure in the middle his first move is almost always to play it backwards, often without looking. That's when he wasn't hiding between the centre backs to avoid any pressure in possession, even if it meant leaving Brannagan on his own in the middle knackering our shape. It's no coincidence that Brannagan's form improved greatly when he had Konak next to him taking a bit of responsibility.Nor would I, he brings a calmness. I think many people are judging players of not being good enough on how they preformed in the Championship which is fair enough but, League 1 is a different standard all together and players such as Vaulks and Helik, who looked average in the Championship, should really stand out in league 1.Disagree on both points unfortunately. Great bloke but we're almost always worse when he's on. Perhaps he'll be much more comfortable in League One, he was good in what was essentially a friendly against a crap Sheffield Wednesday and when he came on against 10 man Pompey, but he wasn't up to The Championship.
I think starring role is a bit of an exaggeration for Harris! Two players who played starring roles for their teams when winning promotion last time they played at this level?

Absolutely but starring role, not for me. We need better options for 26/27, happy to have him as back up and squad player, no question of that.Top scorer then.
