General Signed & Never Played.........

Tsun Dai. Sold for a hefty fee to Wolves who never played him either.
 
Jacko McDonagh Eire international ( although played 1 Simod Cup match away at Reading .around 91 ?
Stuart Gibson signed from Birmingham but again only played 1 full members cup game v Swindon (83/84)
 
Garry Haire , named as sub 2 or 3 times in 81/82 but never got a minute with us.
JIm Hicks who was used as part of makeweight deal ( with Gary Barnett) to sign Ray Houghton and had a good career with them.
Danny Cullip who again went on to Fulham among others and had a great career .

Swannack was from Farnham Royal, Bucks and was in the 1986-87 team photo pictured next to David Langan.

A real stretch to call him a player.

Disregard the 9 appearances for Springfield Demize, who were a now defunct U23 development club with no senior team. So as they were not even real "senior" appearances, you can't even call it the start of his demise.

We signed him with the specific intent of sending him immediately out on loan to an Indian side as an ambassador. He essentially made a career travelling to world trying to encourage youngsters to join the game, under a charity named after himself.

Perplexingly, he made one appearance for the Pakistani national team.
 
Jeremy Balmy - think his only appearance at the Kassam was when he played for Swindon?

He was dead unlucky with a serious injury sustained in pre-season. However, if Robbo hadn't binned him off without even seeing him in training we may well have had a decent player on our books

I think he played in the Oxford City preseason friendly? But I didn't go to that one.
