This game could see a big following, considering the last few results, and a last chance for many to travel away due to the restrictions at Luton. Being a bank holiday in the sun, and not too far, we should be looking to break the 1500 mark.

I can’t make the game due to other commitments unfortunately but Shrewsbury is good town for an overnight stay for anyone wanting to make a ‘weekender’ of it.

The Loungers are travelling. Part of our annual pilgrimage to visit friends in Snowdonia. Overnight in Shrewsbury, dinner out after the game and a hotel breakfast to see us on our way.
If the weather is good and you feel like a walk, then down to the river and follow the paths to Percy Throwers quarry garden (the older fans on here will remember Percy!) This time of year all the spring flowers are in bloom and being sheltered, makes for a good spot to relax and reflect for a moment or two.
The town centre is easy to navigate and there are plenty of good pubs, restaurants etc.
Looking forward to seeing some of the younger squad getting a chance to show what they can do.

Prefer the old ground - right on the banks of the River Severn and near the town centre.

This is a good piece.

Last win in Shrewsbury was a 2-1 triumph in March 2003 with Jefferson Louis and David Waterman on target.
Think Scott McNiven went in goal after Andy Woodman sustained facial injury?

I had totally forgotten about Dave Waterman and that he played for us.

Not able to attend, too much of a treck relying on public transport.

Season is over so let's just enjoy what is left, up the U's!
