I fully expect a load of grief for this but here goes...
With it looking more and more likely that fans won’t be allowed into games this season do clubs need to start looking at pricing of season tickets or some form of compensation for fans?
If I hadn’t bought a season ticket and decided to just purchase every league game, home and away it would cost me £460 across the season.
With my East Stand season ticket which is £299 I pay a total of £529 for the same amount of games.
Some will say that you don’t have to buy the away games but that is still £69 more for a season ticket holder to watch every home game than it is for a non season ticket holder.
Some people will say that we all knew fans weren’t allowed back into the grounds when we paid for our season tickets. Again, I agree with that but we didn’t expect to pay £69 more than someone who didn’t purchase a season ticket to watch the same amount of games.
Now where was that tin hat?
