Tickets Sheffield Wednesday Away

How do people do that?
We have been in the same league as Sheffield Wednesday recently, beating them at Hillsborough, not just this season. With all due respect to Oxford City they have never been a football league club, have only one season in the national league where they came bottom and are very much a non league club. We have had 60 years in the the football league, 3 in the top flight and won a trophy, its just a weird thing to make a mistake about, I wouldn't get Cambridge United and City mixed up yet it happens fairly often (the name mix up not the tickets).

Should never have changed from Headington United.

Not relevant. So they haven't been named? I think 'publically humiliated' is an over exaggeration, it wouldn't fall foul of our safeguarding measures.
As a professional it wouldn’t sit right with me to make fun of this, especially as it was easily rectified. But no one really thinks about consequences these days

I am all for protecting people, but no one has been named and Oxford city clearly did it as a bit of a joke tweet to promote their game at the weekend as part of non-league day. I don’t see much of a consequence other than a bit of embarrassment for Sheffield Wednesday - I think it was a lighthearted tweet which should be taken lightheartedly

As a professional, I can see it is a bit of lighthearted banter between two football clubs. Nobody has been singled out, and no accusations were levelled.

Although I respect your opinion.
