Shaun Harvey

the end of u23s in the league trophy?

Considering clubs voted to keep it after the first year experiment, it seems unlikely. However, a new CEO may be able to propose an attractive alternative, rather than Harvey's choice of his way, a lot less prize money or a disbanding of the tournament.

Let's hope whoever replaces him actually cares about the fans of teams in the Football League.
I would bet not, it will be another money man who only thinks about brand and globalisation. Fans are an inconvenience for those running football, and much of the inspiration is taken from the US where there are franchised teams in locked leagues with no promotion/relegation.

Annoying that the Checkatrade final has ended up being Sunderland v Portsmouth, he'll be banging on about the success of his changes again when there is 80,000 there for it ?

Still, at least the Sunderland owners will know their way there, could be weeks away from a third runners up day.
