Does anybody know when 10 year olds start receiving their free home shirt 😂
From September

Any idea why the delay? The offer can't apply to more than, what, 100 kids? 200 at an absolute push? Why can't this be sorted as a priority?

Rather than this perk allowing these kids to have their new shirt from Day 1, they are being made to wait til September (and even then it doesn't sound definitive).

What about those with siblings? Do we buy the new shirt for them and make the child with the 'perk' wait? Do we make them all wait for September? Or do we just buy each of our children the replica shirt now and forego the 'perk'?

Grateful as we all are for this, when it's done in such a messy way (not helped by a pathetic delayed 1/3 kit launch of course) the value is much depreciated.

So incredibly muddled, inconsistent, ill-thought out and unprofessional. Again.

It was published when ST info was released that kids would get their shirts by September.
Seems odd to only just get annoyed about it now?

I questioned it at the time that some kids won’t have their new home shirts for the 1st home game. I am sure it will be added to a very long list of things that can be done better next season.

and subsequently ignored until raised by supporters groups, then the same thing repeated time after time after time , while in reality nothing is actually done any better ( even though the list of things to do better increases)

Friday PM, and my season ticket still not arrived, looks like a visit to ticket office tomorrow for paper ricket

Give the Ticket Office a call - they said on the OWS earlier in the month that if fans have not received their ST by Wednesday, 7th August to contact the club. The club can then re-send the email to you and/or make a replacement card if you ordered one :)

Our season tickets landed this morning but I cannot believe the cards are identical to last year's. Absolutely no effort was put into them and had I known, I would've just re-used our old ones from last year and saved £50.

I actually think this is a real kick in the teeth to fans who should've been made aware on the billing screen and the offer should've only been explicitly made if you wanted a fresh card or had misplaced your last one during the summer.

Really thought they'd put some effort into a collectors card or something but it's clear they've just re-ordered the same batch and are re-charging £10 per one for the privilege. It should've been absolutely clear that the design would be the same.

I'm actually considering getting a refund Saturday morning on all the physical cards and will try and dig out all our old ones from last season from our souvenir box.

I honestly cannot believe the amount of frustrations fans are going through in what should be a very exciting week.
Well if that's the only compliant you have something must be right

Of course this does raise the question of why the club don't tweak the designs on the cards if people are willing to collect them. Maybe even produce a display book to house them if collecting them becomes a thing.
I think next season the club should launch a limited edition digital card membership scheme

After much deliberation Mrs L and self both purchased the new season shirt yesterday. We'll be taking up the offer to have sponsor details etc added at a later date.
Question is this, one of the benefits listed for season ticket holders was a 10% discount on everything fully priced in the shop. As we came to pay we were both informed that we would be credited 10% U's Cash following our purchase. In addition, the club had already rewarded us with £5 U's Cash as season ticket holders, which we could use against the purchase of the shirt. A fair deal and very welcome but, not 10% discount.
To my rudimentary maths this should have reduced the shirt from £50 to £40. £5 U's Cash plus 10% discount. This was not the case. No discount was applied. Am I missing something? @OUSP @OxVox - any thoughts?

I am only guessing here but could it be a case of either getting 10% off or using U's cash rather than being able to use both?

I will add that there is still not the possibility of getting 10% off as a ST holder when you shop online. Something that was an issue last season and was mentioned to the club back then. It should have been resolved ready for the new season.

If I'm reading it right, the club may be using U's Cash as the 10% discount. Otherwise U's Cash would have been mentioned in the season ticket / membership benefits.

As Manorlounger correctly points out, it is not the same thing! Anyone from OUSP / OxVox - can you please take this up with the club? It is disgraceful that we finally have the ability to buy kits but the promised 10% off has not been made available on the website. If I want to buy a full junior kit for my five year old with a name and number on the back, it will cost £85. It is completely unreasonable to offer the 10% as cashback, that could be the only purchase some fans make all season. At those prices, the margin will still be there even with 10% off!

You may have a point. Amongst the list of exclusions etc. is this clause:

Note the mention of on-line redemption! "More information to follow" I wonder when that will be?

It's just crazy that we are spectacularly good on the playing side and so poor off.

Using one promotion at a time is pretty standard practice everywhere.
Granted, promo's are not usually something that can be combined, however, this is not quite the same. U's Cash is earnt by spending on club product. The season ticket holder discount is a benefit as listed. The £5 start up bonus is for season ticket holders only - a secondary benefit. It should be possible to "spend" that cash as a method of payment. Not, as is the case here, as a substitute for the discount listed as a benefit.
Having purchased a shirt for £50 it should be that my U's cash will benefit to the tune of £5. Let's say I go back and wish to purchase £100 worth of goods. My discount should be £10 but, if I use my U's cash, that discount is excluded. That leaves me £5 worse off. Alternative, I take the discount and buy something for £5 in a separate transaction and use my U's cash to pay for the entire purchase - makes me £4.50 better off.

Strikes me that this has not been properly thought through, as with so many other parts of the commercial sector.

Maybe I'll just forget about the shop and stick to watching the footy. Much better!

I agree ,it seems not to comply with the t&c’s.

Just send your experience to @OUSP and let them, hopefully sort it .
In the meantime, win or lose , just enjoy watching our team in the Championship .
