Tickets Season Tickets & Memberships 24/25

Mine came yesterday at about 5pm.

It contained both

Remember - Your season card is valid for one entry to each EFL League One game and whether you scan your digital card OR your plastic card at each of these games is your choice.
and
Each season card has a single scan barcode or QR code admitting one entry to the Kassam Stadium for each EFL League Championship home game.

It's basic stuff - just proof read what is being sent out ffs!

So third instance of emails not being checked before being sent.

1. Home members being told they have a £10 credit when it was jsut last years email being sent out
2. Email sent to wrong fans about £19 credit for a game they didn't attend
3. Season tickets saying they are for EFl LEague 1

I recieved the first 2 emails so should have £29 credit apparently.:ROFLMAO:

But seriously 3 emails errors in a week is a bit concerning.

I get mistakes happen but 3 in a week?

It’s so sloppy.

Who is authorising these emails to be sent out?

It confuses people.

It wastes the ticket office staff's time because they have to field unnecessary questions.

It means fans won't trust what is coming out of the club and will query information in the future, even when it is correct.

Not good at all. Emails should be test sent to a couple of people who didn't write them and double checked before they go out. It wouldn't even take that long!

Received my ST.

Also received the credit for the Bristol Rovers ticketing issue (and was sitting in the impacted stand). I’ve not received any email telling me about the refund but (just being honest) I wasn’t on top of the issue at all and it was only scanning through this thread that made me look at my account out of curiosity to even check!

Not going to comment on the fact that one of YF’s functions right now seems to legitimately be group-interpretation/translation of the bizarrely scrambled comms coming out of the club. Do all the current ‘top 30 club’ online forums perform a similar function? 😈

Flagged this up last week, looks like they changed one reference to league 1 but not the other. You really couldn't make it up.
@Kamal When did your email come through?
It is absolute TIN POT!

But even tin pot sides would not get our league incorrect. I said this before, but it feels like we are already out of our depth off the pitch.

I have a had a reply, they are working to resolve it ASAP, perhaps they were unaware until very recently?
question is who signed off the email as 'good to go' , the buck stops there doesnt it? ... are there no proof readers employed by OUFC? There should be an official apology sent to every single ST holder for this latest own goal

I remember that about 25 to 30 years ago there was a pensioner called Ambrose (Langton or Lansdon?) who used to help out with proofreading the programme. Someone like him would be very useful.

It really should not be the job of this forum to be alerting the club to their cockups (which is - again - what it looks like has happened).

This all seems like the anti-matter equivalent of Dave Brailsford's 'marginal gains' mantra - just do everything at least 1% less well than the last time you did it and it adds up to a large amount...
