Tickets Season Tickets & Memberships 24/25

The club would rather see full season ticket sales so I wouldn't expect flexi tickets or memberships offered immediately, but we should absolutely look to maximise all sales and flexi and/or half season tickets are something we should definitely explore.
Whilst significant ST sales is good, I'm not sure full ST sales sell out is good (The thought of that is probably a bit optimistic!) I think a good mix would be limiting ST sales to 8,000 ish and then (assuming home capacity is 10,000) the remaining 2,000 tickets go on sale to members on a match by match basis.
I assume there are a lot of long standing supporters where they can only get to, say 5 home games a season, so a ST is not feasible.
This way you are potentially keeping approx 16,000 supporters involved and happy, rather than 10,000.

The point being that all those mentioned work shifts. They do not have a fixed rota or fixed working days. A season ticket would be an expense without justification. The occasional freebie through Blue Light ticketing is very welcome.
Not necessarily, I work for the NHS but work Monday to Friday and with 6 months notice for the fixture times and days & would appreciate something if it was offered. Not every NHS worker works weekends or unsociable hours is all I’ll say :)

You don’t limit season tickets.

The more sold the better. It enhances our need for a new home.

I wasn't suggesting that we sell out with Season Tickets, but they always launch first with membership or flexible ticket packages following nearer to the season starting.

I know a number of people who share a pair of season tickets to cover each other's working weekend. Most can find a way around shifts, I've done so myself for 29 years!
I'm wondering whether the club may crack down on the ST sharing.
The T&C allows four shares per season, but if you have one physical card, they won't know who is using it.

Was there one game last season where the match sold out and ST holders were given the opportunity to offer their ST back to the club for resale?

I think some EPL clubs penalise ST holders who don't turn up to ALL the home games, league cup etc.

also is it likely we get some touts buy a ST and then we end up with Forest or Southampton fans etc being in with the home fans?

All this talk about selling out season tickets and 8000 season ticket holders next season is a bit unrealistic IMO.
I know we have had a good season, on the crest of a wave but do we really think we will have a 60% increase in ST sales?
I personally think we will be looking at 6500-7000 ST sales which is still a 20-30% increase which is impressive.

I don’t think it’s unrealistic to have around 8000 st holders.

Bigger clubs, and better players on show. Admittedly the refereeing standards maybe on par with Lge 1.

But in general the standards will be better than what we’ve been used to over the last 25 years.

The Elephant in the room is The Kassam! That’s the only reason we might not reach that amount of people.

It’s an awful stadium, and not the easiest of place to access, and parking is a problem. Getting out of parking areas can be worse.

I think I agree again, 20-30% would be impressive & I would guess be as bigger increase as we’ve ever had season to season. Bournemouth are similar to us & I found it easy to get tickets for games until they got to the PL then it became virtually impossible. I think the PL would be a big jump but not L1 to Championship.

someone will have the stats (secret club statistics that they never release final numbers}

, but ST i imagine dropped each year in the conference, jumped when we got promoted to L2.

then got a boost the season we got to play STFC.

I believe it is between 5000 and 5500. If we are doing ok then we might see a fair few half season tickets sold around Christmas but to start the season I just can’t see us hitting 8000.

If the club are on it when it comes to ST sale updates on socials then it will drum up a bit more interest.

I know of atleast 10 people getting season tickets next season where they didn't have one last season. I'm also bring an extra with me next season. You may be pleasantly surprised how many we sell.

I wouldn't be surprised if we got at least close to 8,000
Thete will be games sold out, it will be difficult to get some away tickets and the league us full of huge clubs.
