In my opinion this is something we have suffered with under both Appleton and KR. Both want to play attractive football, which is great for the fans, however, we have struggled to revert to a more direct game when needed. This has also come down to the lack of a recognised striker that is willing to put a boot in and get on the end of crosses. Hopefully Taylor will be the answer, but also needs others to support from set pieces.
If you watch Lincoln this season, the majority of goals will likely come from battles won in the penalty area. Its not that pretty but are well drilled and know when to commit to attack.
