I feel for KR, how on earth does he pick an 11 for Saturday?! The five he rested Henry, Woodburn, Gorrin, Cadden & Mous all contributed to a record breaking 6-0 away win yet the six who came in Sykes, Hall, Long, Forde, Baptiste & Moore all contributed to probably the best home win possibly ever!
After the hysteria in July isn't nice to know we have serious strength in depth.

It's a funny old game. How quickly things can change. Tough game this Saturday though. I'm sure we'll do our homework on them though and pick the best team we think fit for the job.

whoever plays should be on a bit of a high after this week, so whatever team it is let’s get the 3 points from fatty McCheat

Personally think the most important thing is to get the formation right. Playing a midfield three just seems to suit our players and style of play so much better than 4231.

It’s so hard to say who will play. You’d have to think that two days rest isn’t enough for most of the starters on Weds, but how do you ‘drop’ players who’ve done so well!

I have no idea what the centre back pairing will be, for example!

It will be very interesting to see who KR picks on Saturday. He now has the luxury of resting players who are carrying niggly injuries.

My gut feeling is that most of those who started at Lincoln but didn’t start against West Ham will be in the first XI on Saturday. Except perhaps Mackie who I was surprised to see start last night, I thought he couldn’t play 2 games in a week?

So expect to see Fosu, Henry, Cadden, Gorrin all to start.

Taylor for Mackie.

It will be a close call between Mousinho or Moore.

Despite Baptiste superb performance against the Hammers, he’s still coming back from a serious injury, I wouldn’t be surprised to see him drop to the bench.

Going to be a headache where to fit in Forde, Sykes, Woodburn, not mention Long & Agyei.

Sad to say but Hall is way down the pecking order now imho.

Looks right to me. Might play Sykes at some point, if only to reward those who take their chance.
Isn't Dickie due a ban for yellow cards?

Would have thought it would be something like:

Eastwood
Cadden Dickie ??? Ruffels
Gorrin
Brannigan Woodburn
Henry Taylor Fosu

Agree. I think KR will probably go with Mousinho, especially if Mackie doesn’t start. Need an experienced head out on the pitch when playing against a fatty Evans outfit.

Woodburn might make way for Forde?

I think the fact this game was Wednesday and not Tuesday sort of makes the decision for him. As poor as West Ham were we still did a lot of chasing, especially in the first half and were very energetic in our own possession for much of the match. I think he will revert to virtually the same team as at Lincoln. It will be wise management if he does because if the likes of Henry, Cadden, Gorrin, Fosu and Woodburn had any delusions that they were sure fire starters after Lincoln then last night will have put that thinking well and truly to bed.

The competition is now at an unprecedented level and what a great feeling that we have the likes of local lad Sam Long putting genuine heat on a Scottish international in Cadden. One of our own in Baptiste giving perhaps the individual performance of the season and looking like its impossible to leave him out. Our midfield, Brannagan included, cannot let up. Woodburn will have to consistently up it too and although Mackie won’t deliver the goals Taylor will have to replicate his work rate and deliver to become an automatic choice.

A word too for Sykes, it would have been easy for his head to drop knowing the manager was willing to loan him out but he was outstanding last night and fair play to him that he seized his opportunity on the biggest stage last night. Robbo is using the squad really well and all the players can feel they have made a significant contribution to the season already and we’re only in September !

Fosu gets a hattrick and then comes on against West Ham and scores, I'm pretty sure he's a sure fire starter!

Yeah perhaps he is but with depth like this he’s probably only one or two poor games away from losing his starting place.

If it was me I’d pick all 16 and hope the ref didn’t notice..

I doubt the odds are much better than 40-60 on that, but nothing ventured.......

Eastwood
Long Dickie Mouse Ruffs
Baptiste Brannagan Henry
Sykes Mackie Forde

It's a tough one though, hopefully KR can keep everyone happy. I think that if we play Long, we don't necessarily need to play with a specialist 6/DM.

Id be happy with a team that takes 3pts off Gillingham
But we'd all prefer their GK to miss the following game with a bad back from picking the ball out of the net. Also to see Evans almost explode in the technical area would be priceless.
