Was only saying yesterday that I miss the days of players just sprinting out of the tunnel, booting a ball up in the air and the game starting a few minutes later.

Running out to THAT song is also a strong memory of mine when first watching Oxford.

I still recall that season where we let the players pick the music - I think it was the era when Bradbury was captain. They picked "Acquiesce "by Oasis, which seemed about the least appropriately titled song for any team wishing to be successful!

Reckon we can produce a list by others remembering tracks over the years and posting them on here.

Use Somebody by Kings Of Leon around 2010 was a really odd choice given meek most of the song is.

And obviously What Went Down by Foals in recent years which works well I think and good to have the local band connection.

The banana splits weren’t bananas. A rock band dressed in animal costumes for a 70s hanna barbera. blend of live action and cartoons.

I have some vague memory of SoccerAm changing the cartoon Arabian nights segment. Which featured a “size of a ……..” to change shape to “size of a Kassam “.

I like the way Everton run out to the Z Cars music (apparently based on a folk song from the Liverpool area). It would be nice to have a traditional song like that, but for us it would probably be a twee Morris dance tune!

Also like the "Yellow and the Blue" song. Would be good if a local band could remake that song with some Oxford Utd centric lyrics for the verses. Isn't the song actually about being Swedish and pride for their country?

Maybe that's the way to go? Have a Morris dancing troupe banging their sticks and jingling their bells on the pitch before the game. Might even put off the oppo...
