Did anyone see this yesterday? Absolutely disgraceful. He boots the ball away and lays hands on the guy about to take the penalty. He went on to miss it when it was eventually taken. I'm sure I saw a stat once that the more time that elapses between the penalty being awarded and being taken, the greater percentage that get missed/saved. This is why keepers often try to play mind games and delay things as long as possible.

This is whole different level though. This bell-end may have helped earn his team 2 points. He'll get the fine/lifetime ban that's coming his way, and hopefully more besides?

Apparently there was more then 3 fans that run on the pitch, you can see another follow the guy that kicked the ball away on the video. Think it's time clubs start getting points deductions for this kind of thing. These brainless idiots will then stop!

Like the prat who ran on at the Sheffield Wednesday game?

We have to remember that we also had one such brainless idiot run on the pitch after the Sheffield Wednesday winner. As someone said elsewhere, it appears that following the covid break, we seem to be getting more and more issues with certain elements of football supporters. It may only be a very small minority, but at a time when we are working so hard to attract new and returning fans we have to be mindful of behaviours that may discourage some of these from returning.

Didn’t Rotherham’s game versus Crewe get disrupted by their fans lobbing objects at the linesman?
Safe to assume that they will get a financial penalty of some sort

Rotherham have had incidents at their last 3 games including this and as mentioned something being thrown and hitting the Lino.

The prat at ours didn't kick the ball away or run at a player he jumped on when we scored our winner. I'm not condoning it but Rotherham's situation was different as in at least 3 idiots ran on to interrupt the penalty being taken.

Yes ours was like the Wycombe non fan that ran on the pitch. Difference is Rotherham had more then one run on and interfered with the ball and ran at an opposition player delaying a spot kick. If you don't punish Rotherham firmly everytine a penalty is awarded you will have one brainless idiot doing the same now!

I'm.not condoning it by any stretch of imagination but I kind of found it abit funny the accy player or set to take the pen then out of know where this idiot kicks the ball away and the other bloke chugging behind him what a pair of wolly brains

But he only got a 3 year ban, should have banned him for life

This, surely there is an argument that it directly affected the result. That's 3 games in a row, surely there'll be a 6(?) point deduction coming there way.
