Well that is a seperate debate which should end up with him at the Hague.
However I was talking about his delivery and explaining what they were doing and why they were doing it which he did well.
Any leader needs a balance of those things, which SKS sadly lacks.

That was my point though. The whole delivery communication thing, IMHO is way less important than competence and policy. Not saying the Starmer has that right either, but that’s the stick to beat him with, not his personality.

Its a great idea the likes of @QR @Scotchegg @Sheik Djibouti can put them up at theirs................. as can anyone else who thinks these undocumented arrivals are nothing to worry about.

PS: I wouldn`t take one for £100 a day.

I’ve been saying that for the last couple of years the bit about all the diffusers who say they should be alllowed to stay, they should put them up feed them clothes them give them pocket money on and put a bond say 20% of the value of their property which the will have to forfeit if they disappear into the night.

Tell people the "why,what,when".......... which he is abjectly failing to do.
Instead he`s wheeling out Reeves to say "Things are a bit worse than the last time we told you they were terrible and now you are all going to feel worse off".

Knowing this lot who knows, look at the winter fuel payment. I used to get £300 ,last year nothing this year £200 . It takes as much to warm one body as it does 10 or more , worked hard all my life paid into the system and they nick £100 !

If you worked hard all your life and don't have a good pension I'd humbly suggest the problem may lay with your ex employer(s) rather than a government trying to balance the books in the face of the economic destruction of austerity, Brexit, and Covid/VIP lanes waste/furlough.

As soon as I was entitled to the fuel allowance, they whipped it away.
Just had a letter saying they’re restoring the winter fuel allowance this year. I’ll be receiving £100.

Reaction you won’t get , just look after your own pension and please don’t worry about me . We are lead to believe that we are the Seventh richest country in the world who can spend money like a Labour woman Mare , spent £ Eleven grand on Taxis even though she has her own Chauffeured Limo , that’s hot off the press ! Or maybe Reeves forgetting to pay the local council a fee when she rented her house and much more . Mone who sat in the House of Lords and her company sold Defective items for millions to the government during covid . The real world beckons you and so does my kettle for a cup of Earl Grey unfortunately a used really t bag will have to do

I got £300 an increase of £130’on last year although that wasn’t the WDA it was money towards heating if you have disabilities
My father 95 got £300 but nothing last year but as the woman from accounts said when it was reinstated we’ve found money, yeah right but the money you found was by not paying the previous year.
