I don’t think anyone’s saying that. But the constant “we used to be losing at Histon” is not helpful.

You never progress with that mindset. We are a Championship team with Billionaire backers. We should be giving Sunderland a game. It’s not Man City. Sunderland finished 16th last season.

There is nobody in this league we should be losing to in the manner we lost yesterday.
Rubbish, it happens, get over it and move on.

Are we allowed to lose to premiership teams in the FA Cup, or is that somehow different?

Also remember that this league is insanely competitive. There is normally one obviously sh*t team and I dont think there's that this year (not even Portsmouth).

This is true.....but, I'm also thinking that there's not as many truly outstanding teams as I thought there would be.

Sunderland, obviously, are one. Burnley didn't really give us a sniff but are not great up front. I suspect Leeds and Sheffield United will be tough to get anything from as well.

Otherwise......I think on our day, if we play well, we can live with everyone else. Although some of the other clubs have far greater resources than we do, I don't think any of the other clubs in the division this season really scare you.

We just need to get our mojo back; and I think (if I'm allowed a little bit of Des criticism) we may need to rotate a little more than we have done. The energy that was there at the beginning of the season is starting to wane. Injuries have obviously contributed to this, but also the likes of Kioso and El Miz and Ruben and Sparky have been playing a lot of minutes (so has Tyler, but he's the one who doesn't seem to be affected!). Maybe time to give some of our fresher legs (like Sibs, Ter Avest & Leigh) some more game time to see if they can inject a little more urgency.
