Approaching halftime, QPR 1-0 up. Not sure if I want it to stay that way, or finish up a draw.

I think teams around us drawing against each other is the result we want as it keeps both of them in the relegation mix.Approaching halftime, QPR 1-0 up. Not sure if I want it to stay that way, or finish up a draw.
Blimey, they did that in the time it took me to start the thread.

While that’s true on one level, we could really do with Plymouth and one other team absolutely imploding as that would only leave one relegation spot for us to avoid. QPR have more points than Luton, who have just lost their last 3 in a row so if they make it 4 tonight that might not be the end of the world, a couple more losses after that and they’ll be in horrendous form and in big troubleI think teams around us drawing against each other is the result we want as it keeps both of them in the relegation mix.

they started 1-8-7Odd, QPR looked terrible against us (which is why it was such a bad reflection on us that they won so easily), and yet since then they've done really well.
They had lots of injuries when they played us - defence nearly all missing or playing out of position, no Frey and Chair wasn’t fit enough to start having been out for six weeks - which made the manner of our defeat all the more depressing.Odd, QPR looked terrible against us (which is why it was such a bad reflection on us that they won so easily), and yet since then they've done really well.

Personally glad QPR won tonight. I want the teams below us to keep losing so they can’t catch us, and QPR were already above us as it was. I know it’s tight but if every team around us keeps picking up points we will stay sucked in. We need a couple of teams to start falling away, and that will mean some of the other teams around us climbing as a result. I’m still looking at 21st place as a massive prize, and Luton staying an extra point behind us is much more beneficial on that front.
The good news is that Luton have played 26 games now.Exactly this. If we are saying 50 points is the magic number of points to stay up Luton have got to gain 25 points from their remaining 22 games to achieve that now after tonight. The more points dropped from teams below us the better and that magic number of 50 will start to come down.

So they need 25 points from just 20 games ( and to date they have less than a point a game)
There are!Good spot. There is only 46 games not 48. Even better
Luton are in the poo. I mean really in the poo!
I think they and Plymouth will go down. The third spot could be anyone’s. We just need to focus on ourselves. The more we tick off points mainly at home, then we will be fine.
Given that they're receiving about £50m in parachute payments (likely more than double our total revenues for the season on its own), genuinely think that Rob Edwards has done comfortably the worst job of any manager in the Championship! Yes, even Rooney......
If it wasn't for the fact that he'd taken them up to the PL in the first place, he'd surely be gone. But I'm guessing it can't be very long now......
