Attendance tracking
Looks like there are a very few tickets left, has the ticket exchange not opened up yet for it? I can't attend this.
Sorry the management of the club is too busy filling in forms, they will get around to it probably nearer Wednesday

But there will still be loads of empty seats.
We've got friends who often don't make it to an evening game. The travelling plus game time means that they would get home at a time that just isn't comfortable for them. (it's an age thing plus health status) Whether or not they make use of the exchange system, I don't know, I would hope they do as seats in the SSU pretty much always get snapped up.

They would have to open it for them to do that, two sell outs and it not being open is a bit strange.

Not strange at all.

They've got decades of experience remember. Even though it's a complete sell out the ticket supremos know that there is absolutely no demand............

Don’t think there is any resale tickets going on sale as the Oxford site says SOLD OUT when you login

EXACTLY! So hard to get my head around that.
If a fan's got enough disposable income to buy a season ticket despite knowing they'll only be able to make a handful of games, they're unlikely to be motivated by getting a few quid back towards next year's season ticket.

Some will be motivated by helping other fans and filling the stadium but there's enough admin in people's day to day lives, I can understand why those who live hundreds (or thousands) of miles away don't bother, or forget, or don't get round to it.

You'd hope that next season some of these absent season ticket holders (many of whom have likely been buying them for years when filling the stadium rarely happened) would switch to an Old Gold membership, or equivalent. But that doesn't offer away priority, they may prefer to keep the option open of going to Leeds away.

10:20am on the Monday before the game and STILL no ticket exchange for this game, or the Leeds game, with both Sold Out. Also no announcement or communication from the club whatsoever on either game, other than the ticket site saying "get your QPR tickets here"!!!

Absolutely bizarre.

Edit: And as if by magic, five minutes later and the ticket exchange is now open for both games!!! Who says they don't read this forum.................

The club really should be sending out emails and making it the front page story asking fans who are not coming to put their tickets up for exchange. I noticed the usual empty North Stand seats were occupied on Saturday, but several others were empty.

Also is it correct that ticket forwarding only opens up at the same time as exchange? So is there any other permitted way of sharing your ticket?

Email received at midday.

Perhaps a bit of data mining could help get these empty seats on the exchange.
eg
"Dear ST holder,
We noticed you didn't attend the match vs Sheffield United on Saturday.
If you are unable to make the games against QPR or Leeds, did you know that you can put your seat up for exchange for certain home matches, and get a credit against your season ticket renewal for next season if it gets sold?
This benefits the club by allowing more fans to attend the game, as well as you getting a pro-rata portion of your season ticket back for next year."

Managed to get a Leeds ticket about an hour ago - a few qpr tickets were also available.

Looks to be 8 'normal' tickets available as well.

I couldn't believe how many empty seats there were on Saturday versus what had been showing as available late on Friday night.
It's clear that the exchange isn't fully used (for whatever reason)

112 exchange seats have come on sale over the last few hours. 6 have sold. Although I'm sure that will pick up between now and Wednesday evening.

Also 40 standard seats in SSL became available and only 8 remain.

I still don't understand why the exchange wasn't available on Friday, and can only (and I'm being serious) conclude that somebody forgot to switch it on???!!!

Decades of knowledge and experience.................. just not in switching things on.... 😂

115 seats available for QPR now - 6 original seats (meaning 34 sold so far today) and 109 exchange tickets with lots of availability for people wanting to sit in Groups, especially in the North Stand.

By contrast there is currently only one Leeds ticket exchange seat available - it may be early for people to release them and they are also getting snapped up very quickly when appearing.
