I wonder how long it will before Farage and co. follow the Trump line of saying these polls are fake?

For balance, a single poll in the middle of an election cycle is meaningless. But undoubtedly there is a downward trend for Reform that shows no signs of changing, even after their conference and the £72m gave them so much media attention.

In fact, I'd argue that the more people hear from Reform, the less they buy it.

I wouldn't be surprised to see the Tories getting a boost after their conference and Reform sitting in third and struggling to build from this, especially with so much dirty laundry still to be washed in public.

I'm guessing that poll wasn't produced by some American sat in a beer garden holding a clandestine meeting with Reform big-wigs and their leader whilst enjoying Champagne and oysters?

Good idea, let’s have a General Election then.

There is a difference. With Raynor's tweet, Burnham was clear in advance of his selection what his agenda was (unlike Sunak), and the rest of Burnham's tweet that is clipped off in the image you recycled says "... at the end of this Tory leadership election. They were all elected on a manifesto promise to level up the North and are all abandoning it." so there was a specific reneged policy promise behind the demand.

Andy Burnham has introduced plans to set up a new centre to "stem the poisonous tide" of disinformation, including from Russia. The biggest critics of this seem to be Farage, Reform and Reform TV aka GB 'News'. I wonder why? 🤔 🤔

Reform UK-led council are ending support for 'Show Racism the Red Card' because it is - they say a 'politically charged organisation with an agenda'.

What agenda would that be? Stamping out racism? Why would you be opposed to that - unless you are a racist party?🤔🤔

"Eynon, whose party gained control of the council in May, said the authority was not “stepping back from its opposition to racism or discrimination” and that “racism has no place in Sunderland”.

Seems like a clear enough message to me. 🤷‍♂️

Still you got to play the "racist" card.

Crazy of Farage to suggest that having milkshakes (which could conceal acid) and bricks being thrown at him could lead to something more....

Farage is such a snowflake. I'm old enough to remember the late John Prescott when he had a an egg chucked at him. None of this 'terror attack', 'it could have been acid'. Back then it was a left jab, followed by a right hook!

Burnham wasn’t even an MP when he was crowned . He was parachuted in from Manchester without any opposition.
Firstly, there was a contested by election for the seat. For any Reform fans reading, that means an election where all of the major parties contest a seat. Not one which is vacated then fought again as a stunt.

Secondly, once he was an MP anyone in Labour as an MP could have contested a leadership battle, but no one did.

Whining about legitimacy or mandate is just as boring and wrong now as it was when the Tories were doing the same thing, or when MPs were defecting to Reform.

I think Reform fans will know what a by election is. I’m not sure if there are any reform fans on here, but it comes across, as if you are saying they are a bit thick.

Why do you have to explain what a by election is to Reform fans?

Not a good look as a moderator treating people in that nature.

I think you've missed the second crucial part of the statement "... where all of the major parties contest a seat."

I've done no such thing.

@SteMerritt doesn't need me to leap to his defence, but this line is trotted out by multiple people on here the moment a mod happens to say something that they happen to disagree with, and frankly, it's boring, you can debate him without claiming he should be held to a higher standard just because he spends his day reading the Wordle thread.

“ For any Reform fans reading That means”

Then you start to explain what a by election is.
It was quite obviously a commentary on Farage using the electoral system as a stunt, so why you want to try and turn it into something else only you can answer.

More evidence of Reform being a racist party. Sadly it's a non-white person who has basically sold out so that she doesn't upset her paymasters. Reform doing Reform things - needlessly stoking up division and tensions on racial grounds.

If she doesn't want to identify as being English, then that is sad, but that is her right to do so - but who does she think she is to say that if you don't have white skin, you can't be English?

I bet she's more than happy to say that Donald Trump is American though, although the Native American's might have something to say about that - actually most of them probably won't, because most of them aren't racist POSs.

The only people who are British but not English are those living in Wales, Scotland, Northern Ireland, Channel Islands, Outer Hebrides etc.

This was posted by an outrages Reform supporter. Problem is.... well, just look at the name at the bottom.

Say it slowly if you still don't get it. Gammons are so easy to wind up! 🤣

Come on, you know the only polls that are NOT fake are the ones that Reform themselves commission.
